Just had breakfast here was recommended by the valet at the Fairmont Winnipeg. Awesome food good prices And food for all vegan choices(I am not a vegan but I had the vegan Mexican breakfast) the Stella patties are not only healthy homemade but yummy like stuffing but healthy. This place rocks definitely will be returning my next trip to Winnipeg

STELLA! I love eating here, fresh bread and salads. I want to say best food in the airport… but that’s not exactly a compliment and doesn’t pay them the kudos they deserve.

Pretty decent food for an airport restaurant. Have had a few different meals there already… Food seems to be pretty freshly made. Love the leek and potato soup, baked eggs, their loose leaf tea bags and salads. Staff are friendly, however they push hard to sell more. Wish that wasn’t the case. Obviously I know how hungry or thirsty I am.

Pretty clearly the best place to eat at YWG, and one of the best breakfast/brunch places I’ve ever been to at an airport!

This just might be the best café and restaurant I’ve ever been to at an airport. It’s so good that you might even consider going here even if it wasn’t in an airport. And the good news is, you can! It’s before you go through security, so if you’ve got some time to kill before your flight, you can take your nice friend who brought you to the airport for lunch before you go. Our server was super friendly and bubbly and immediately told us that their Caesars are really excellent and the double Caesars are even better. I’m on holidays and have a plane to catch. Double Caesar it is! As far as Caesars go, they didn’t stand out in anyway, but they were caesars. And for less than $ 10 for a double shot cocktail at an airport, you can’t go wrong. My mom, who was travelling with me, went with the fish tacos and said they reminded her of Costa Rica. I’m not sure how authentic that makes them, mind you. She takes off to Costa Rica every winter for 6-months and it’s coming up soon, so she got Costa Rica on the brain 24⁄7. They didn’t look like any central american fish tacos I’ve ever seen, but she seemed to think they were pretty tasty. I went for the Scandinavian Gravlax. Well, sorta. They were out of Gravlax, so instead I got smoked salmon with the gravlax sauce and they were out of the potato salad so I got soup… And they were out of the dark rye bread so I got white rye… It wound up being nothing like the menu, but it was still a great meal. A giant pile of smoked salmon with with bread, soup, and a delicious sweet and vinegar-y cucumber salad(that I’m going to try replicate at home) and it was only $ 13.50. I’ve very impressed. If I ever find myself in the Winnipeg Airport again, I’d be glad to return. The double long island ice teas are also nice before a flight… So I’ve heard.

Best food I’ve ever had an airport! Grass fed beef and unique creative dishes. It doesn’t look like much more than a café on the outside but.

Nothing better than an all-day breakfast place before your flight, before your flight or while you are waiting on someone :) You can never ever go wrong with Stella’s. The smoothies are a must!

I don’t normally enjoy sandwiches. I really don’t ever enjoy breakfast sandwich(no McMuffins for this girl!) And I am a firm believer that airport food can’t ever be GREAT. But a colleague convinced me that the breakfast sandwich here at Stella’s at Winnipeg’s airport would be a different story, and she wasn’t wrong. Stella’s(in my humble opinion) has redefined what a breakfast sandwich should be. Each breakfast sandwich is made fresh when you order, so it’s warm and amazing each and every time you get it. The egg inside is not one of those hard, made in an egg ring, or in a microwave, but a medium runny egg, so when you bite into it, the yolk spills into the rest of the sandwich and makes it incredible and delicious. I always get mine with bacon because really, who doesn’t love bacon?(Vegetarians need not reply… and besides, they have a vegetarian breakfast sandwich option which, I am told, is fabulous in its own right!) They use multigrain bread, and the sandwich also includes cheese and tomatoes. Their coffee is decent, but I love that they have the option of stevia at their counter, as so few places do. Their shakes sound amazing, and I’m dying to try one, but when it comes to choosing between shakes or a breakfast sandwich, the sandwich has always won out, leaving the shake for the next trip :)

Can’t really give this place a review, since they wouldn’t let me eat there. Early flight, had my favorite energy drink and wanted to get breakfast and finish it before security. Perfect, I will eat at Stella’s. Oddly they wouldn’t let me in with a drink. I explained I was going to eat breakfast and they didn’t offer this drink or I would’ve got it here. No exceptions. I am asked to leave. Turns out there is a Tim Hortons downstairs so I win. But seriously, that’s a little strict for an airport café. I wasn’t just wasting a table. Kind of rude, especially when the restaurant was almost empty. Their business their call but I would think $ 10 in food was better than the $ 1 coffee I wouldn’t have gotten because I had a drink already.

The only reason I’m giving this Stella’s four stars is because it’s difficult to get to… for people who have no reason to be at the airport, that is. I realize this location has been chosen for people either leaving or arriving to Winnipeg, but it happens to be my favorite Stella’s in the city! The day I ate there I was waiting for an arrival and that been delayed. The food was extremely fresh and delicious. I ordered a spinach salad and it was one of the best spinach salads I’ve ever eaten — I’ve dreamed about it since! I also had an Italian soda — raspberry — and it was so tasty and fresh, I hated to finish it! I did, and so ordered a cappuccino, and it didn’t disappoint. The service was excellent, despite the restaurant being full when I arrived. I’ve been wanting to return, but have had no reason to go to the airport. The parking at Winnipeg Airport is priced about the same as most — it’s pricier than regular street parking. It’s also a fair distance away from Stella’s, so from a practicality standpoint, people in Winnipeg are better going to Stella’s other six restaurants. I totally recommend making time to visit this location if you’re going to be at the airport though.

I’ve been going to Stella’s since 2000 when the only location was on Osborne St. It’s hard for me to believe there are 6 locations now and 1 at the airport! In the beginning it was all about the fresh bread! They have carried this concept through and through with down home goodness and high quality food! Originally it was a breakfast/brunch place but their menu has morphed into more over the years! On this day I ordered a club sandwich with spinach salad. The spinach salad had a very nice orange oil flavour with some curry infused in it. Really nice! The club sandwich was on homemade bread and really hit the spot! Only disadvantage is you have to go before security but rest assured it is the best meal in the new airport!

Came here to get a coffee. It was actually pretty decent. Service was friendly. Parking is available if you don’t mind paying through the nose. Chances are you’re a passenger though, so this probably won’t apply. This is pretty much the only place to get food on the departure floor of the terminal, outside the secure zone. The actual layout is a bit upscale ut casual. Feels like an outdoorsy café, thanks to the nice open layout of the airport terminal. They have pastries and sandwiches, but if you want hot food, you’re better holding off until you get past security. Or you can hit up the Timmy’s downstairs(arrival zone). This place is more for a light snack and coffee before you get probed by security.

I was here on business, visited Stella’s on Portage, and I will def return when I’m back in the Peg … the portions are huge, fresh as can be, service is really friendly, I visited 4 times in a week at different times with different staff and they have customer service top of mind. The soup(s) of the day — amazing!

It really has a great West Coast casual feel. I am impressed by the friendly people and staff at this ungodly hour(6am) Breakfast served all day. But they also have a great lunch, sandwich, burger and entrée menu with lots of veggie options including a Cremini mushroom and quinoa patty burger. A menu after my own heart. I got the Egge Benny and asked if they had a gluten free option. They offered me a Spelt bread instead. Awesome. Event better as gluten free can be bland. I love that they will explore different ingredients and offer you something unique. My eggs benny was tasty. Fresh ingredients. And the spinach hollandaise is def different. $ 11.50 Now I will actually have a reason to come to the airport early.
