I still love Pizza Pizza (I think they’re the only ones who make a pepperoni pizza I actually like), but the last two times I got delivery from them they put the wrong kind of sauce on my pizza.
I ordered their new pulled pork pizza (delicious! Pulled pork on a pizza — brilliant!) which comes with chipotle BBQ sauce, which is too spicy for my tastes, so when ordering online I changed it to regular BBQ sauce.
Both times my pizza arrived with the spicy BBQ sauce instead of the regular.
They were great about correcting the problem both times, and brought me a new, properly made pizza pretty quickly, but still. Once, I can understand, twice, that’s just sloppy. Plus I feel like an ass for calling and complaining twice in a row — the problem was real, but I don’t want to feel like they probably think I’m trying to scam them out of extra pizza, you know?
I’ll keep ordering from them, but they’re normally so good that I just expect better.
