Horrible did not use gloves, he touched money then his face then tried to handle my shawarma. Go to shawarma kingdom. He also tried to fight one of his customers because they said to put on gloves!

Best shawarma I’ve had in Windsor, so far. Smells a little weird in there, though.

Great place. The only place to go to when you need tasty, fresh shawarma in Windsor. The meat and toppings are always fresh and the sandiwch is always delicious and they don’t skimp on quantity. It’s also open late which is a bonus.

Excellent small authentic restaurant. I tried the mix shawarma meat platter it included chicken and beef, salad and potatoes or rice; with a side plate of hummas, garlic sauce, pickles and pickled turnup(I think that is what the pink things are) and a pita. It was really delcious. I also tried the spinach pie which was warm and fresh. The side of potatoes were drenched in oil, not healthy but tasty as hell! Definitely highly recommend this place. The portion sizes are very good for the price and the service was fast.

This is Windsor’s best shawarma! The meat is always fresh and cooking, I’ve been here many times in the past and seen them replacing the meat meaning they must go through it quickly and it must always be new meat. I sometimes think about how long meat has been there in the less popular shawarma places… The display of toppings is organized in a very appetizing manner. The glass is clean, the counter is clean. I like to get hot sauce on my shawarma and my husband likes how they warm up the shawarma on a grill to warm the bread. I am not sure if they still do this, but I wish the potatoes and rice would be heated on the steam line and not in the microwave. They put Styrofoam plates in the microwave which is bad for your health… this was a few years ago perhaps they have stopped that. Overall they make an amazing shawarma and prices are good. It’s a Windsor favourite!

Just paid 18dollars for Lebanese imitation cardboard shawarma plate. Pretty disappointed, the meat was as I said very dry and flavourless. The plate didn’t come with hummus, but they did give a stale pita. The owner did agree to bring me some hummus on the house, but that too tasted like a stale chickpea paste. The garlic sauce was absolutely perfect though. Very light, garlicky and fresh. The tabouleh was plain, overpowered with lemon. Would benefit with a bit more olive oil and some mint. The brown rice, should have been wonderful by the looks of it. sadly the lentils in it were so chalky and the fried onions chewy and gummy. Service was wonderful. Very kind people.

Haven’t been to other places in Windsor, but I’m sure it’s not the best shwarma i’ve ever had. It’s decent though. Manger is quite charismatic.

This is how shawarma should be. I wish Toronto would follow suit and do it like these guys. Great staff, very friendly. Owner remembers everyone and their orders. The potatoes are really good to dip in the garlic. My mouth is watering as I write this.

Favourite shawarma place in Windsor. Staff is always friendly, excellent service, prices are reasonable and food is always fresh. Great location on Ouellette, always open late on weekends and makes for the perfect hangover food.

My favourite shawarma in the area! The food is delicious, prices are good and the staff is friendly. Try the roasted potatoes with garlic sauce or the roasted cauliflower as your side!

Overall 4 stars Food: 4 stars Atmosphere 3 stars Service 4 stars value 4 stars Will I go back? when I’m in town, a must. I am a windsor native, but live elsewhere now. Shawarma Palace, Capri Pizza and Armandos Pizza are the 3 Windsor places I miss. This place is fantastic. Food: Food is great. Shawarma, regardless of meat is fantastic and fresh. Service: Great also – helpful to newbies making recommendations Value: Priced well. Most places charge a lot on canned soda, but their prices are reasonable. Atmosphere: here’s my only ding — dining area was clean, but bathrooms weren’t. Will I go back? Absolutely.

Probably the best Shawarma in Windsor! I’ve been to a few other places and nothing compares. The toppings in the display are always piled high and fresh. The staff is great and they’re always willing to accommodate special requests. If you’re thinking of adding those small green pickled peppers to your sandwich, I would suggest getting them on the side because they tend to make the sandwich soggy.

This place knows what they are doing. Who would have thought a small gas station Lebanese restaurant would make such great food to keep me driving back for more regularly ! Nice gentlemen always give me extra food always fast, kind, inexpensive, and delicious! Keep up the good work guys, I’ll continue to make the drive there to enjoy your food.

So, last two times in Windsor we have been in. Definitely a great spot for lunch! We pay the same or less then you would at MacDonalds and get a healthier meal! Try the pickled turnip. Yummy! The combo for 5.99 is fantastic! And we both have it with the lentils and rice. Wow! So filling. You could not ask for better service. Everyone that walks in the door is welcomed with a big smile and hello. This alone makes it a great experience! Will be going back many times more I am sure :)

I have been going to the palace since they opened. Once a week, sometimes more… the staff are all personable, friendly and quick to serve you a wonderful meal. For a quick, cheap lunch with great portions — this is the place to go! The meat is always fresh and delicious, the garlic sauce and hummus can’t be beat. I like to go right at lunch when the Falaffal is fresh from the fryer. The hours are great, for those occasional late nights when the craving hits — no matter what time of day, the service and food never disappoints.

I’m drunk… I’m in canadia… and I need food… NOW! If ever there was a better post-drink food this side of the N. America I do not know it. This is deliciousness and filling! And oddly enough you are more than likely to be bumping elbows in line for this grilled wonder with the mall rats that you saw earlier in the day just as much as you would expect with the hoochies and douches that you probably tried to cock block or hit on(depending on your persuasion) down the street at one of Windsors fine night time establishments. I should point out that these bad boys are juicy and will, if left unchecked while eating, get all over the place… again that can be good or bad depending on ones interests. lulz ;D
