Love the food the this place. Amazing portions and hearty vegetables. However… the service… oh man! I have never been met with so much attitude before. I asked for bread without butter when they gave it to me, and they looked like I had just slapped them in the face. They proceeded to tell me that it’s ridiculous I didn’t tell them before hand. I told them it was my first time there and I didn’t know. She huffed and puffed, and walked away.

Food:3 I ordered veggie omelet w crispy, not burnt hash browns, came out burnt… cook and server should not have served the burnt hash browns. Ordered side of ham, menu did not state it was served w pineapples. Server scolded me as if I made the mistake. Service:2 I would have returned the hashbrowns, but the server made me feel bad about returning the ham

A great gem to Windsor. Very cozy and absolutely delicious breakfast with great portion sizes and prices. Our waitress was great despite the very busy place. The waffles here are terrific. Definitely try out the chocolate walnut one, sssooo good. One of my favourite parts of breakfast are hash browns, and these guys don’t skimp out. They give you a pretty big size of perfectly cooked hash browns, golden brown outsides and deliciously fluffy insides. The only thing that sucks is that you will have to wait because this place is usually so busy. I imagine the weekends are the busiest, we had to wait about 30 minutes. But other than that this place is great.

Always good service with great food. The big breakfast is a wonderful option and you get so much for the price. The smoked salmon eggs Benedict is also great. My favourite part is that you can add a plate of fresh fruit to your meal for just 1.99.

Real maple syrup, fluffy pancakes, perfectly crisp and dense waffles, crispy bacon, hint-of-maple sausage, eggs cooked with skill(and creativity — pizza omelet I’m talking about you ;-), endless fresh coffee… need I say more? Found this spot en route back to the States. I had no expectations walking in but I walked out thinking about when I could come back again. Now for a good excuse to go back to Windsor soon…

The french toast with raisin that I got was kind of over cooked.

What a nice cozy casual breakfast place. My friend suggested years ago we meet here for breakfast and we have been back many times when I come visit Windsor. I love their Eggs Benedict, it is always cooked perfectly. white part is never runny which is something that turns me off of my meal as it implies the eggs are raw still. Paul’s kitchen knows how to cook eggs! My friend got the mini breakfast and it was super cute and full of variety. I like the casual atmosphere and the prices are great. It can be very busy and crowded as it is a very small restaurant but we have never waited that long to be seated. Looking forward to going back while I’m in Windsor this summer.

One of the best breakfast places in Windsor. Not too many know of it, but those that do love it.

Good food. Fast service. Great prices. Love going here. The parking lots is very full and it’s super popular as fast as they are, I almost always have to wait in a line to get in at lunch time.

This place is absolutely delicious! I found it based on Unilocal reviews because I’m always looking for a new place to eat when I am visiting in Windsor. Paul’s is a breakfast/lunch place and is only open until 3PM but technically 230 is the latest you can be seated. It is not very far from the casino about 4 ½ miles and a straight shot down Dougal Avenue, not hard to find at all. It is in a little storefront that shares the building was some type of auto parts place. I probably had one of the best breakfast today that I’ve ever had in my life. My omelette was huge and very tasty. I also really enjoyed my bacon as it was cooked perfectly and of high-quality meat. My mom had the big breakfast which included eggs bacon sausage ham hashbrowns and toast all for around $ 6.50 Canadian. What a good deal! Especially considering the exchange rate. We got there around 130 which is probably not the average breakfast time so we did not have to wait in line to be seated. Keep in mind that it is a small place and if you go at a busier time you will probably have to wait but trust me it is well worth it. We will definitely be back!

My husband’s grandparents are regulars at Paul’s, so we go whenever we are in town. Once you get a table, it is fast, fresh, and cheap. We went on a Sunday at 10 and had to wait about 40 minutes for a table of four. The wait goes fast because everyone is friendly and you know you are about to eat a great breakfast. Come in early and you won’t have to wait! The omelettes are huge and stuffed with ingredients. You have a choice between deep fried hash browns or shredded grilled potatoes — both are good. A small piece of fruit comes on each plate. I don’t love their eggs benedict because it comes with a slice of canned pineapple and the hollendaise is thin. The servers are happy to make substitutions or special orders.

As I mentioned in another review, I rate restaurants against others that are similar in style. As far as breakfast diners in Windsor go, this is probably the best there is. I’ve been here about a dozen times and have never been disappointed. There are two servers, and they are both quick, attentive and polite. It is always busy, especially early, but as I’ve also mentioned before, I don’t mind that. I disagree with some other reviews that say it should expand — I enjoy the coziness of it now. It truly has the feel of a breakfast diner with some family-owned wrinkles. You can order all of the usual breakfast staples, or order some peculiarities off of their«special board» that I’m pretty sure hasn’t ever changed. My personal favourite is the Hawaiian omelette. Like many items on the menu, it’s loaded with pineapple, an ingredient the cooks seem to love. I have never waited longer than 15 minutes for my food here, even when the restaurant is totally full, and the portions are heaping. The omelettes in particular are enormous. I went here with my family yesterday, and it was essentially the total opposite of the experience I had at Donna Mae’s last week. I recommend Paul’s Kitchen to anyone but would warn groups of larger than four that space is limited, though turnover time is very quick.

OHMYGOODNESS. This place is fantastically delicious to eat at. My friend and I came here during their lunch rush and it was packed. There were already four groups of people waiting before us but we waited it out. The waitresses were all doing their best, didn’t rush anyone, and were super friendly. My friend and I got Paul’s Kitchen’s breakfast special(I forget the name) but hers came with two eggs over easy, four pieces of bacon, two pieces of sausage, hashbrowns, toast, and a slice of watermelon. For me, I had three eggs scrambled with no milk, four links of sausages, two pieces of bacon, hashbrowns, toast, and a slice of watermelon. Nothing to complain about. I had asked for one pancake instead of toast but it wasn’t doable and I wasn’t going to pester the waitress with the huge rush on them. I finished their toast and it was SO good. Their hashbrowns are dynamite and their meal itself in its entirety was absolutely delicious. You need to come here.

By far one of the best breakfast places I’ve ever been to. Great menu selection offering the classic breakfast meal(sausage, bacon, eggs, toast, ham, and fruit), a variety of omelette selections, and fruit and chocolate crepes to name a few. They also offer a lunch menu.(soups, salads, sandwiches) It’s a cute place, very cozy and homey. They should consider expanding since seating is really limited.(Make sure to get there early because it can get quite busy on weekends) The wait staff is wonderful, very polite, courteous and knowledgable. Such quick service, but never skimping on quality. Fresh ingredients, never burnt or over cooked and portions sizes are perfect. Best of all, the pricing is incredible. Every experience I’ve had so far has been great and will be returning whenever I’m back in town and craving a hearty breakfast. My personal recommendation: eggs Benedict, with pre-meal bacon(although I substitute bacon for sausage), comes with pineapple slices on an English muffin and served with a side of hash brown
