Ah-maze-ing!!! I am so glad that I stumbled upon this place. At first I thought it was a themed restaurant… Expected it to look like some old dude’s farm on the inside. Pleasantly surprised to see it look like a clean, comfortable, local quick service restaurant. The food is INCREDIBLE!!! There’s this hamburger that they call a «Big Mac» that is To. Die. For. You have to try it… Its made with an all beef patty, special sauce, pickles, onions, lettuce, and cheese ON A SESAMESEEDBUN!!! Oh my!!! Anyway… If you are ever in Windsor check this place out. Its a few hundred meters from the Ambassador Bridge.

This is, hands down, my favourite McDonald’s. This particular one sits near the University of Windsor, as well as the Ambassador Bridge. You can be sitting on one side of the restaurant and get cell phone service from the US(AT&T), then take about five steps towards the beverages and your cell phone service goes back to Rogers(Canada). Very interesting cross section of people here; reminiscent of the McDonald’s on Portage & Langside(Winnipeg) or the one in the Holiday Mall in downtown Duluth, Minnesota. It’s a fun place to order a coke, sit back and read the paper, and people watch. You’ll be amazed at the amount of transport trucks(semis) that pass through customs; you’ll see why this is one of the busiest commercial border crossings. *US residents: Be aware that McDonald’s gift cards, for whatever reason, are not accepted at Canadian McDonald’s!*

Why is this McDonald’s different from others? It’s probably not, but we went through the drive through and we asked ordered a fish fillet. But not any fish fillet, but added bacon. Phenomenal. Anyway, it’s an extra $ 0.69 cents. Do it. You know you want to.
