Amazing restaurant and service! I came here with a friend as a last minute birthday thing on a Sunday evening. We were assisted and seated immediately and the view was spectacular. The holiday décor was gorgeous and the only thing I wanted to do was take pictures of the place and my food. They serve the best clam chowder I’ve ever had, their chicken le cordon bleu was fantastic. I would come here more often if I had the money for it. All of the staff, especially our waiter Michael, were professional and friendly. I can’t think of a complaint or a reason why I wouldn’t come here again.

Went here for lunch and ordered the fried shrimp with a side salad. The shrimp were lightly breaded and fried perfectly — very good :) The red pepper dressing was homemade and was outstanding. The view of the water is nice too.

This place has been around for 30 years or so. My first experience there 30 years ago was French onion soup nine months pregnant and I was craving soup. Needless to say it was a disaster the soup turned over contained a cockroach. Not too happy about that. But I though after 30 years later it would have changed. So off I go with a friend to check out there ambience we’ll I ordered my usual half way through I noticed black chunks in my glass it looked like plastic chips so I asked the bar tender to remake without black chips. He did remake the drink but once again black chips in my drink. Well that’s it for you guys I will not. Be returning till you clean up your act again maybe in another 30 years

Came here for a late lunch while visiting family in Ontario. It was nice to sit on the water, and be outside. I’d say the food was ok, nothing special but good. They only provide one free refill on sodas??? Really? It cost you like .50 to provide soda from a fountain. Anyways, our waitress was less than enthused to be waiting on us, and even less enthused with my questions and special requests. Asked if I could just get a grilled cheese sandwich, and was told they’d only do it for the children’s menu. Seriously? you can’t make a grilled cheese sandwich? Fun to go sit on the water. Beautiful views.

This is a review from an experience about a year ago. I’ve never been to this restaurant and had heard about it’s fantastic patio that overlooks the marina. As Windsor can get quite humid in the summer, any chance to be river/lakeside is a treat. Unfortunately, the view is the only thing that’s positive about this place. My meal was downright awful and the server could really care less. I visited this restaurant with 5 other people and I don’t think one of us was impressed with the food. I had ordered a fish and chip combo, which was ok on it’s own. I asked our waitress if they had malt vinegar… to which she replied that they did. She brought out an unlabelled bottle and put it in front of me. I picked it up and poured some over my fries and fish. Yuck… what an awful flavour! I called the waitress over and advised her that something was wrong with their vinegar, to which she responded«that’s not malt vinegar, that’s soy sauce». I told her I had asked for malt vinegar, to which she argued back that she brought me what I had asked for. I then asked her if hey got alot of requests for people to put soy sauce on their fish and chips, to which she didn’t respond. The person sitting next to me also told the waitress that I had asked for malt vinegar… and she argued with them as well, then stormed off. I was not offered any replacement and she only came back to present our bill to us… with the fish and chips still on it. Needless to say, I will NEVER go back…

Whenever I want a really good patio experience in the Windsor-Essex region, I jump in the car and cruise east on Riverside Drive to hang out at Lilly Kazzilly’s. This restaurant sits on a marina and the patio overlooks the docks, which spend a lot of the summer buzzing with activity. The view is great and the sound of the water lapping against the boats is soothing. The menu is what most would expect at a marina crab shack. The fish and sea food selections are simple but appetizing. The clam chowder is decent. Pasta, sandwiches and surf-n-turf round out the menu. There are a few standouts on the menu, especially for those who are not big on fish. The politically incorrect appetizer«Oriental Nachos» is a lick-smacking treat of broccoli, snow peas, zucchini, yellow peppers and tomatoes smothered in melted cheese and sweet ‘n’ sour sauce, served on deep-fried wonton chips. And for dessert, a key lime pie option that is tart and tasty. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the kitchen turns out orders quickly.

Worst meal I’ve ever had — in my life. It’s like 30 years has passed and no one took the time to dust things off. Bad service, terrible food(the worst ever) and an outright filthy place. I kept thinking«please don’t get food poisoning». STAYAWAY!!!

This is a nice seafood joint in a nice district, just across the river from Detroit. Nice view, nice service, and pretty ok food. The prices are good here, and there is a good variety in drinks as well. So where does the«only» 3 stars come in? Probably a personal experience vice. I made the silly mistake of ordering the only«ethnic» type of food on the menu, the black bean sauce shrimp wrap. What a mistake, I’m pretty sure there was only 1 piece of shrimp in the whole, so called, shrimp wrap. This place is on the edge of Canada/Michigan turf, stick to the food styles of the area and you’ll be fine. If I could get the chance to go back and eat there again, I’d probably bump it up another notch. Other than the food, the décor in the place is very cozy and inviting, it really is just a simple fish joint off the river. Nice views outside, and if the weather is permitting I highly recommend eating out there. Service was prompt, accurate, and attentive. The waiter knew what he was about and took good care of us. Good place to catch a bite to eat if you’re in the area, or if you just want to hop across the border for the afternoon. This place is literally just 10 – 15 minutes along the river from the Detroit bridge.
