This is a great place. Great ambiance and food. I don’t know why it’s always empty every time I pass by. Spago is always packed and personally I think the food tasted better here at Da Luciano. We went on a groupon and happy we did. Tried a lot of food and everything was great. Will be coming back for more!

I went here the other day with my boyfriend. We were actually hoping to go to Spago but it was very packed so we went around looking for another restaurant. We found Da Luciano Trattoria. Probably the very first thing my boyfriend said was that it looked like a restaurant for older couples. Which is true because through the windows we saw a lot of elderly folks.
We were seated by a nice waitress and given our menus. She didn’t rush us for our orders or our drinks which is always nice. We just settled with water though.
My boyfriend got the fettuccine alfredo while I got their spaghetti bolognese. I know, they’re pretty typical. The great part about this was our meals came with nice salads and this bread appetizer. It was NOT garlic bread. It was BETTER than garlic bread. It was a flat bread with some amazing seasoning salt and herbs on top. Eight amazing slices on a big plate. And it came included with our meal!
My boyfriend liked his salad, adored the bread, and really enjoyed his fettuccine alfredo. I loved my spaghetti bolognese! Every meat sauce recipe is different and it was fantastic here. I had quite a lot of noodles so I didn’t end up eating my three huge meatballs. I wish I could have and I know I could have had it packed to go but I probably wouldn’t have.
The only problem with my time here was that practically all the elderly customers were staring at my boyfriend and me. I know eyes wander but it was magnified because we were basically the only young customers in the restaurant.
I would come here again but maybe not on a date. More with a big group of friends because if you do come a little earlier than the dinner rush, you kind of have the place to yourselves.
The interior of the restaurant is very cute though!
