Lousy business. Skip their photos.
Went to the Whistler Sliding Center and they had a person there who takes some photos and sells them to you. It’s $ 45 for 6 photos but that’s how those things are, it’s a one time opportunity so I figured I’d buy ‘em.
They take your e-​mail, tell you they’ll touch the photos up and send you a link to them within 48 hours. I’m a little put off by this. It’s 2014 and it takes 2 days to get photos online? You know people want to share these photos with friends and family right away. So here I am on day 3 still waiting, my e-​mail to them went unanswered.
This isn’t being a whiny person who can’t wait a few days. These are the expectations in today’s day and age. If you’re going to charge $ 45 for a few crummy digital photos you’ve better deliver fast and efficiently.
My biggest regret is that I didn’t pay by credit card so I can’t just charge them back and walk away. Instead I have to hope that they get back to me at some point.
