Minimal beer selection, was sort of noisy with the pool table behind us and toy train above. My brown ale on nitro was pretty good, extremely smooth and easy to drink. It was a nice spot to get inside away from the snow.

Very good spot to chill at with some beverages. We popped in to grab a few brews and snack on a pizza. I loved my Lifty Lager. My other buddies enjoyed their beers as well. One even got the sampler and said they were all good. Some were better than others obviously but all were palatable. We also ordered a cheese pizza to share that was very good as well. The cheese was fresh as was the sauce and the dough was very delicious as well. The ambiance was very casual and comfortable. I loved the train that circled the restaurant just above on the tracks near the ceiling. Our server was very good as well. Very friendly and speedy at refilling our beverages. The restaurant was clean as were the restrooms. Or rather the washrooms as they refer to them here lol Definitely give this place a try. It’s very good in my opinion.

Don’t go! The food was over priced and awful. The service is bad and the the manager is rude. I have gone there for years but never again. The only reason I gave one star is that I had to give something.

Ok, so the service seriously sucks… But, as an Australian, I can’t really say I’m super surprised as almost every single service person working here seemed to be an Aussie(not unusual for Whistler!!) For those who don’t know, Australia doesn’t have a tipping culture and has one of the highest minimum wages in the world… So most Aussies(1) don’t really understand the tipping culture(2) don’t know how to give good customer service as they’re used to getting paid well regardless of whether you actually enjoy your experience or not(see point 1) and(3) they’re all really just here to ski and enjoy Canada not serve you… So, generally, as soon as I hear that Aussie accent, I assume the service will be pretty much blah… Beer and food wise it was decent… But expensive… Two beers, a glass of wine and a carne poutine was in excess of $ 60 before the tip which seemed a little excessive for what we actually received… For Après ski the atmosphere was good, if a little loud and the fireplace seating was at a premium and very very popular… Not really sure if we’ll be back.

Yowza! So surprised to see this place get such a low star rating. My boyfriend and I usually end up eating here every time we go to Whistler. The service is good, food is good(got the shepherd’s pie on our last visit) and watching the train go around on the track is pretty good dinner entertainment. We’ll most likely be back here the next time we’re in Whistler.

Food was decent. But the beer was sub-par. I left wishing I had gone to a place where the had a bigger selection of beers.

Great place! Try the beef sliders, and salmon burger. Very cozy environment. Great after the slopes to warm up!

The service is Absolutly terrible. The standard line from the waitress is that the kitchen is backed up because it’s busy. The waitress was rude. The manager finally came over And gave us more bs about the kitchen. I would never return here. If they can’t get it wrong for the holiday season then they never will never get it right. Decent beer and mediocre food when it finally arrived.

I came here for lunch with my husband and toddler. The food was great, but the service was awful. I don’t think we’ll be back though. Service: The place was mostly empty, but for some reason we were seated at a table where the sun was directly in our eyes. My fault for not requesting to move. Our server came over to tell us the pizza oven wasn’t working… then she didn’t come back for ten minutes. She had no idea what soda was when I asked her what the option were. Are you telling me that no one else has ever visited from the west coast of the U.S. and asked for soda?! Food: When our food finally came out, it was good. My husband really liked the craft beer. I loved the hamburger and fries. The fish and chips were pretty good too because my 2 year old surprisingly ate it up.

I can now see why this place has 3 stars. We were looking for a place to do a beer sampler and found this place on Unilocal.Don’t get me wrong… the beer was pretty good, the service was excellent, and I loved sitting around a cozy fire. What gets me is that the price just seemed so high compared to some other similar places in Whistler. We had 2 beer samplers and some fries… and our bill was somewhere between $ 35-$ 40. This seemed rather outrageous, but hey… maybe it is just me. In terms of beer, they had about 7 options(and you get to taste 6). Between my husband and me, we tried all of their beers, which I believe are: Big Wolf ESB(ABV5.4%) Grizzly Brown Ale(ABV5.0%) Lifty Lager(ABV4.5%) Alta Lake Ale(ABV5.0%) 5 Rings IPA(ABV7.5%) Belgian Wit(ABV4.7%) Scotch Ale(ABV7.5%) They were pretty good(i.e., definitely drinkable)…but nothing amazing for sure. With that said, I thought the sampler was huge. I guess I’m used to American samplers, but each beer was 4 oz(so a total of 24 oz of beer). That was a TON of beer. Their fries were pretty good, but nothing amazing. I can’t really comment on anything else because this was just one stop during our night. Overall, not a bad place to hang out, but could be more affordable.

This is like the state fair version of a brewery. It’s nice, it’s bright it might be fun. Underneath the glossy veneer is the seedy carny lifestyle. The beers are mediocre. That’s it, mediocre. The very large staff is very distracted. God help you when the place is busy. The fish tacos are fishy, and they stay with you. Consider this a bar of last resort.

We came here after getting into whistler kind of late and were pleasantly surprised. I ordered the Singapore noodles because it was the only gluten free dish offered, besides a salad. I really wasn’t expecting much but the noddles were very delicious. It came with bean sprouts, 7 – 8 huge shrimp and this creamy curry-esc sauce. My dad ordered the salmon salad, so we could share, which came with asparagus and potatoes. The dressing on the salad was light but flavorful. They offer«growers» gluten free cider and actually have more then one flavor. I got a dry Apple one initially(okay but flavorless) but the second round the waitress brought out a peach flavor and it has become my new favorite(I got a 6-pack at the liquor store to bring back the condo.) The ambiance of the place is cool and they have a model train running along the wall/ceiling in the bar area that is fun to watch.

This place is a well managed, family friendly, fun, and entertaining place to eat. Price might seem a bit high at first but you are left STUFFED and SATISFIED every time! I’m not much of a beer drinker so I can’t speak much about the brews but with all the fancy beer selection made in house, let’s face it, if you like your beer this place is a MUSTHIT when in Whistler. I have tried almost everything on the menu over the years, and I can’t say enough good things about the beef ribs. Yes they are the most expensive thing on the menu, but they are UNREAL!!! 100% worth it. In fact, I’m going to go as far as saying that you are doing yourself a disservice by coming here and not getting the ribs. Seriously folks! Spend the extra $$! Why? When they come out, you get this overwhelming sensation like you are Fred Flintstone eating a brontosaurus rack! They are huge! And so perfectly cooked the meat falls off the bone and is flavoured superbly. They fill you to the brim, maybe even too much food so come here hungry after a long hike up a mountain or a big powder day on the slopes to really get your fill of the most LEGIT beef ribs! Everything else is dynamite too.(Except maybe the wings if I’m being honest) But oh man those ribs… it’s all about knowing about those ribs!!!

One of our go to’s when we are in whistler. now that we have a 2 year old they are quite accommodating and with the very large interior for our toddler to either be sitting near a window and be people watching, or for us to have her asleep in the parked stroller while mommy and daddy enjoy(Yay I love it when that happens!). we always enjoy our visits. Our last two visits we had a small family gathering there with 14 people and service and food was great. I found my new favorite dish. the mac and cheese with blue cheese. holy moly it was incredible. Oh and the hot wings with the ipa are also a staple. Only 4 stars opposed to 5 is that the prices are a bit high… I get it though, it’s tourist ville and people will pay including us! See you next time!

Came here for a drink. Unfortunately only I got one as I had ID on me while my boyfriend didn’t. For a lager and us not looking like early twenties anymore that felt a bit ridiculous. The cabernet merlot was only ok. it also came in a glass that had been washed but not dried and thus didn’t look very appealing. Service was friendly.

Fine place in Whistler Village to sit down and grab a bite and a beer outside. They are definitely appealing to the tourist(well, aren’t all places in Whistler), with their variations on the poutine — though I will admit that the Greek salad poutine actually kind of works. Their craft brews are pretty decent(I prefer the Lifty Lager, but I’m a light weight like that), and you’ll find options on the menu to please almost everyone. This place is huge — which is great because you won’t have to wait for a table, but the flip side of that is that service is pretty slow. The servers were super friendly, and happy to talk to you, but trying to get one’s attention was like hailing a cab in an NYC thunderstorm at rush hour.

My review is based solely on doing a tasting of a flight of Ales. We did not eat any food here. My friend David and I came in one evening and each ordered a flight of Ales — seven brews total. We tasted them in the following order — which is how they were presented to us: Big Wolf ESB(ABV5.4%) Grizzly Brown Ale(ABV5.0%) Lifty Lager(ABV4.5%) Alta Lake Ale(ABV5.0%) 5 Rings IPA(ABV7.5%) Belgian Wit(ABV4.7%) Scotch Ale(ABV7.5%) I found that all of the brews I tasted — were just not very good in my opinion. No real depth of flavor, no complexity — except for one — the 5 Rings IPA was very good — and I would be happy to drink a pint of it — any day.

We ordered the Mac and cheese and the tacos. There were 3 flavourful tacos, but thats all. The Mac & cheese came with a piece of garlic bread. It all tasted good, but was expensive for the amount. I had the Grizzly Ale and it tasted pretty good. I saw some of the other meals that were delivered(Thai chicken salad in particular) had a very nice presentation.

As far as Whistler eateries go, the Brewhouse isn’t bad. Shortly after arriving in the village, we were in desperate need of beer and food, so we stumbled in mid-afternoon. The place was warm, inviting, and smelled like BBQ. A couple of beers, burgers, and poutine later, we headed out. Overall, food was ok(a bit on the pricey side), beer was decent, and service was good.

Great for groups and they take reservations last minute which is great! There are TVs everywhere great for sports venue. The only thing is service is lacking which is normal at whistler as most are temp workers who junta doesn’t seem to care much up for a season or two. The chicken is free range and very good… No ac so gets very hot in summer. Value 3⁄5 pricey Atmosphere 3⁄5 good crowd but warm Service 2⁄5 Quality 3⁄5 11⁄20
