OK, food good … but at bill paying time noticed the choices for tipping on the machine STARTED at 18% not the standard 15% … I will and have paid 20% or more for great food and service. Lots of other great places in Victoria that don’t try underhanded tricks to get 3% more — we won’t be back.

Mediocre food, friendly staff. I’ve only enjoyed going here for a few happy hour beverages. It turns into a club-​like atmosphere late night on weekends with live music, which would be fine with me except it seems to just turn into a douchy hook-​up bar. I’ve witnessed and experienced some pretty rude and classless interactions here. If that’s your thing, enjoy. Not a fan.

3.5 out of 5. prawn (shrimp) tacos were delish. not messy… thank goodness cuz the waiter didn’t bring cutlery or napkins. yam fries were a tasty treat but needed dip. chipotle chicken burger was okay but the soup was yummy. patio could use a little tlc. pretty drab. chocolate torte was a perfect ending.

Just a big FYI – This is a country-​music playing pub. We had wings and lettuce wraps and they were somewhere between fine and boring. Came in and to our horror a bunch of kids were doing a loud 30 min sound check. Great if that is your thing. It isn’t ours. BLECK.

Definitely worth checking out in you’re on the westshores of the Capital Region Area of BC. Their shrimp fish tacos are so tasty and only $ 3 on Tuesdays. They are small tacos but each bit you’ll love. Their (very hot) wings, while they do have a bit of a spice to it, I didn’t find it «very hot». Plenty of TV for the sports lovers and on the weeks it transform into a club like experience. Check it out!
