Not good at all. Service was terrible and slow. I ordered a roll from their menu minus one ingredient (I didn’t want lettuce in it) and they added more rice in its place making the roll mostly rice, plus the nori paper they used just had an «off» taste. After 3 pieces I was done. Definitely won’t be going back.

Went here today gave them one last chance ! It was horrible it’s been bad but never this bad. Bones in my sashimi of which I got 4 tiny slices of tuna and 4 tiny slices of salmon for $ 12.00 dynamite roll both ends of the roll had a deep friend tail of the prawn shell only no meat my steak sauce on my rice had a layer of frozen sauce in it. They charged $ 2.00 for literally one tea spoon of spicy mayo and 3.19 for the small bowl of rice and $ 1.79 for the steak sauce on top of it LOL! The Bento box chicken was pretty much cat food That that being said if you like paying 20% more than all the other sushi restaurants and getting ½ quality and ½ the quantity this is your kind of place also you will love how quiet it is probably because I’ve never seen more then 2 tables full in the restaurant.

My husband and I decided to do take out sushi today! I called Akemi Sushi by mistake as my go to sushi place it Maiko sushi! Silly me, lol! I only realized it by walking in the wrong restaurant. Anyways we ended up finding this place, it’s right beside Darcy’s Pub. Place is huge with lots of seating. So here is what I thought of the food! No taste and pricey! Spicy Tuna has cucumbers in it and it wasn’t spicy at all. 20% more fish eggs on top of the roll. Which I find it gross! Salmon and Avacado Roll had saggy and limpy fish, wet Avacado! We ordered 2 orders of Shrinp Tempura’s, tempuras are super oily and thin as the size of french fries! We paid about $ 36 for two rolls and two orders of tempuras! Great price! If you are reading this review, please don’t waste your time, money and taste buds. You can drive for couple more minutes and go to Maiko Sushi. They have it all wrong, fancy place with crappy food. I would rather go to crappy place but for good food!

They put quality into the décor however there is nothing authentic about their japanese food. Ordered sushi rolls and sashimi. It left us unsatisfied due to the quality and taste. Price is not worth it. Didn’t feel the ingredients were fresh and unless you know what authentic japanese sushi and food is you could be easily fooled.
