Nice restaurant, friendly staff, typical BP food so don’t come expecting something different. Some of the reviews for this BP seem harsh and unfair as the staff are friendly and fast. Food is standard for BP, comes out hot and fast as most Bps in the area.

I came here in December of 2012. There was one other table in the restaurant, and 2 people on the floor that I could see. We were seated immediately, but no one came by the table after that for 12 minutes(yes, I checked the time). Despite being there with my 2 autistic children, and being starving after a long shopping evening, we walked out. I wonder how long it took for them to notice? They easily missed out on an $ 80 table on a dead night. We went to the Timmie’s next door, and if you are in the neighbourhood I recommend it as the far superior choice for service — I can’t speak to the food at BP because I was never offered any.

Went there while travelling through Victoria and we had trouble finding a place to eat. As a result we went in to something predictable before hitting the road again. The place was very quiet(three or four tables were occupied) yet we waited a good five minutes to be seated. The hostess was busy talking to a table the entire time, along with a server. When I ordered I showed the Unilocal!add showing a 10% discount. I was told it had to be printed to be valid. I took the time to explain Unilocal!to the server. When she understood she went to talk to the owner who was reportedly on-site. Ten minutes later the manager comes by and I explain everything again. She then tells me the owner is furiously Googling Unilocal!and trying to figure out what’s going on. They reluctantly offered the 10% discount but said they wouldn’t do it again. We ordered our food. I got the mexican salad. It was ok, but uninspired. Don’t order if you want to feel healthy after eating a salad!

I’ve been to Boston Pizza for lunch at different places a few times and the meals were always delightful. This time wasn’t the case. It began with a cumbersome ordering experience that involved revising our order twice because the server had to come back twice with new information(about something costing extra, about what was really included in the lunch-for-2 deal). My friend raved about her Cheesy Mushroom Penne and wasn’t able to finish it. To me, it seemed a little too greasy though. My Tuscan Linguini was satisfying but uninspiring. Overall, it was just okay. For the amount we ended up paying, I’d’ve opted for a Subway.

Clean, fairly quiet with just a few peaple present. Seated immediately. Our waitress, Tiffany as shown on our receipt, took our order in a timely fashion. Thai Chicken Bites($ 9.50 Cdn), which she advised to put the dressing on the side if I don’t like spicy foods; an order of Nachos Locos & extra cheese($ 16.95 Cdn), buffalo chicken sliders with a side of Blue Cheese dressing($ 9.25 + 1.25 Cdn) and a standard fountain dispensed root beer($ 2.99 Cdn). Our drinks were replenished throughout our meal, w/o extra charges. The other orders did not do the menu pictures justice. The nachos were burnt on the edge of the chips, the meat and another topping. My wife mentioned the burned parts, so very apparent by being the color black. Tiffany quickly responded, «That’s not burnt. It’s just darkened. It’s hard to cook them without getting really browned because the chips are so thin.» Then walked away. Well, she was incorrect. The burned charcoal taste in my mouth said otherwise after the first bite. The Thai… sauce was spicy; to me. The plating, my son could’ve done this. The chicken was moist and evenly breaded. The dry Chinese noodles tasted stale. The buffalo sauce on the sliders was spicy and they tasted good. Toward the end of our ‘meal’, we were asked if we wanted to take home the over-half full two plates of food. We replied definately no, thank you. Most seasoned servers would have seen this as a clue but in this case it was taken as ‘I must ask them no further questions and exit.‘ The bill was finally brought and no further sightings of the waitress were made. We brought the bill($ 42.63 + $ 5.12HST = $ 47.75 Cdn) to the hostess to pay, who was on her way out but stopped to assist us. She obligingly asked ‘how was everything?’ It was okay. She immediately responded, «I’m sorry» then asked why, with actual sincerity. I explained only about the nachos. Her response, ‘you shouldn’t have to pay for that. Let me get a manager.‘ We were pleasantly surprised with her yearning to take care of the problem without excuses or just ignoring them via not speaking. We insisted no that we would pay the entire bill; which we did. She apologized again. KUDDOSTOTHEHOSTESS.
