History

Established in 2003.

Wesley Allen Shaw started his photography career as a teenager with his first published photo of a burning building in the early 1980s. He went on to photograph superbike racing and other sports throughout the years, and ending up in Whistler where he tried his hand at a TV Pilot in 2003, and published a Magazine, while still maintaining his passion for still life photography doing night club events, landscape, travel, people and sports photography. During these years he also provided news coverage for CITY TV, and Global News as a freelance Stringer and Cameraman. When digital photography was introduced in early 2003 or so, it renewed his passion for the SLR, or DSLR as it was now called.

«Through my photography I seek to document my own personal experiences, to capture scenes, events and people, as I see them and to share with others the beauty and diversity of the world I’ve seen. As the images of other photographers have inspired me to explore the world, I hope my own contributions will inspire others to do the same.»

Wesley attends Langara College Commercial Photography Certification, and still maintains his curriculum on an ongoing basis though its Lifetime Alumni Program.

He maintains a studio in downtown Vancouver, and works with some of the top fashion modeling agencies and designers. He loves fashion, and making women look beautiful.
