I tried coming here to give them another chance but they closed an hour early. Update your hours if you don’t want to stay open past five.

The most important tip: «Chicken and waffles» on the menu is not fried chicken on top of waffles served with syrup; it’s a fried chicken sandwich with lettuce, tomato, mayo, and a spicy sauce similar to Thai sweet chili sauce. Chicken seemed like boneless thigh meat, breaded and simply seasoned. This was not so much about bad fried chicken as it was an obvious missed opportunity to give the public what it really wants — soul food. To present the phrase «chicken and waffles» and serve something that deviates so much from a classic dish of the same name is disappointing.

Raw Chicken served
I was very unhappy that the chicken was served extremely raw with the waffles. [see photo attached]
The staff should be properly trained in food procedures. People can get really sick from things like this.

I cannot recommend this place for the following reasons:
1. waffles are cold/soggy
2. Took 40minutes to make 1 order
3. Order was done incorrectly. During my stay, I was the second person to have this complaint, and when asked, the staff literally told me the below:
–asked for no mayo, found mayo (and a lot of it)
Staff: the sandwich only fell into the mayo sauce on the counter, we didn’t add it to the sandwich itself, it was done correctly, we’re not remaking.
If I had a allergy, I would be dead.
4. Chicken was missing coating on a good portion of the breast, so part of the chicken delicious batter was missing and made the chicken dry and tough.
