There’s always a line-​up for internet usage. The place sometimes smells like pee. It’s often hard to find a place to sit and when you do it’s beside the kid’s section where someone’s reading a book too loudly for a library. Two stars ’cause it’s still a free service.

I like the Kits library because the location is convenient. However, on 3 different occasions, they’ve said that I have lost a book, and each time, I found them on the stacks. I had to go and look myself.
The librarian is helpful, the staff are friendly… but somebody doesn’t seem to be scanning the books properly when books are returned.

This Kitsilano branch of the Vancouver Public Library is pretty small so I wouldn’t recommend it for heavy browsing. However, you can always order books from other branches and have them delivered here for pick up. One thing that this branch has going for it is that the employees are really friendly.
