Mediocre sushi, mediocre service, mediocre ambience. Just mediocre. They don’t even give you tea for free while you wait for your order! Rahul and I ordered the maki combo. It was slightly more expensive than I would have expected, and the sushi was just so… Mediocre. You’d be better off walking to the Village and getting sushi there. Still not great but better than this place.

Probably the worst sushi experience I have had in the past 10 yrs. I have been here for lunch now on two occasions and nothing impressed me either time. The quality of the food is not great nor is the service. We came during lunch and had to wait in line to order about 15 minutes. I ordered two rolls this time around. The dynamite roll was not crispy(very soggy) and they added imitation crab meat which totally overpowered the small amount of prawn… and there was way too much rice. I could not taste any prawn. The yam tempura roll was stuffed with yams but they were not deep fried nor fully cooked and again too much rice. And I was also charged $ 1 for the tea. About the only thing I enjoyed about the meal was that we could eat it outside in the common area and enjoy the beautiful sunshine. Way too many good sushi places in Vancouver to ever return to this place.

Really disappointing quality. Prices are higher than anywhere on the campus. I’ve had way better sushi elsewhere for more reasonable prices.

Good price and decent quality. Only issue with this place is the spicy sauce used in many of the rolls, which is not very good. Do starting away from spicy rolls you’re fine.

Decent sushi and mediocre customer service. Make sure to order before rush hour because you might have to wait a while. All the orders I’ve ever had were delicious and consistent, my friends weren’t so lucky. I recommend the tempura, crunch, and chopped scallop rolls.

it’s good for takeout. gets the job done but it’s not great. a little hit or miss with fish quality of the other rolls i’ve had here but have found the Kamikaze roll to be consistently pretty tasty. the bento boxes are meh so i don’t order those. I haven’t had an issue with the service as some other posters have mentioned but it is small so if you come by when it’s busy, it gets super crowded!

Not the best sushi bar you would go to in UBC. They have very small portions with quite high prices. The quality of the food is also not desirable. The utensils were all plastic, even for eating in. I would think a food court sushi bar offers cheaper prices to justify the lower quality food, but I am pretty wrong. The service is not great, for the staff often tries to ignore your need. You ask them something, and they are so slow to respond that you want to take matter in your own hands. Wouldn’t come again. Even Blenz and Save on Foods have better lunch and dinner options.

Good food, good location, but on the pricey side. Service is exceptional, the clerks are friendly. Decent option for lunch, but it gets quite busy, and the place is really small so it gets crowded.

You usually find this chain in food courts where expectations are low. This location sets the bar lower. Came by with a few friends and got some of the sushi specials listed on their board. Not inexpensive. Definitely poor value. Lots of rice, not much else. Fish was cut thin and tasted a bit old. Keeping fingers crossed we don’t get food poisoned. Staff not very friendly, don’t come here for service or quality.

stopped in for lunch this week while in the area. not a lot of options yet in this new development. the rolls were okay, but not high quality. tried the House Roll, BC Roll, and California Roll. the crab used in the rools tasted funky, and the salmon looked strange… like not fresh, or from a «mold». Glad i didn’t get sick, but I won’t be back.
