Very competent barbers. A little on the pricey side if you’re not a student. Would highly recommend.

Whenever someone asks me for a recommendation on where to get a barber, I will not hesitate in recommending this place. It’s perfect for clueless guys like me, who just want to walk out of the barber’s with shorter hair that looks okay.
This place goes above and beyond those expectations. The barbers I’ve had so far have been very mindful of my needs, and after 5 different haircuts, where I essentially had no idea what I wanted, I’ve never walked out disappointed.
The $ 25 haircuts seem fair, despite the lack of hair washing, since your barber will actually style your hair and show you how to keep it looking that way until your next haircut.
The wait can be 45 minutes, but that’s what you’d expect from going on one of their drop-​in days. If you don’t want to wait, they do appointments from Monday-​Wednesday, so if there’s a barber that you really like, you can hold on to him/​her as well.

Brennan and the folks at University Barbershop are not only excellent at what they do, but they provide an old-​school environment in the best of ways: building relationships with clients and providing an experience more than simply a service. My 2 year old also had a haircut there, and Matt took amazing care of us and handled our nervous little boy with ease. This is a great place!

Great place. The staff is VERY friendly. What stands out for me is their level of service and attention to detail. All in all a great experience, I would recommend it!

Great staff and good conversation. Old school barbershop with a modern, simple design. There is usually sports on the TV and you can buy a pack of baseball cards when you are done.
The haircut I got was great too.
