The place is very clean & warmly decorated. They are extremely customer service orientated .they called in a therapist for me at 9:30 pm & stayed late to accommodated me. Over all a nice experience .i will return for sure

Love the ambiance and the soothing music! The décor is beautiful, very nicely designed. It made me feel like I was in a fancy palace.
The receptionist is really friendly and welcoming. There was a bit of miscommunication when booking for the type of message I wanted over the phone prior to my message. However, the problem was fixed and she handled the situation very well.
I did the foot reflexology and the upper body message and it was great! My masseuse was really nice. He was able to provide me the right amount of pressure to my legs and upper body (you can always ask for small, medium or hard pressure at any given time).
Overall it was a great experience! I’d recommend it to my family and friends.

Worst massage ever! 71 dollars for someone to lightly rub methodically .up one side down other exact same no rhyme or reason. Did not listen when I asked for more pressure. Staff did nothing when I told them I was not satisfied. I don’t use Unilocal but I own a business who is reviewed all the time on Unilocal.I feel others should beware high prices no experience.

I came here on my due date as I was hoping to get things kick started with my labour. We booked 2 reflexology massages the night before for me and a girlfriend. We arrived 15 min prior for good etiquette and of course when we get there, the receptionist told us the customers before us were late and were going to make our appointment 30 min late. We waited quietly while these other customers were getting their massages… and were very happy when it was our turn to go. I changed my appointment last minute to a 25 min reflexology massage and 30 min chair massage and upgraded my reflexology with a $ 15 sugar scrub. The scrub was a complete waste as the lady rubbing it in did it so weak it wasn’t actually exfoliating, it was just lightly tickling me… then she took a foot file (which I hope they sterilize well) and lightly rubbed it on my feet — once again not doing anything at all as it was done so gently. The massage was good and relaxing but was uncomfortable at times. The chair massage was good too, I think I dozed off a few times. That evening around 2am, I actually went into labour and had my baby girl early the next morning!
I will be back, but will make sure to tell them to exfoliate harder next time and hope the customers before me aren’t late and mess up my timing.

As most other reviewers had commented, the place is very clean, spacious with a nice tranquil atmosphere. There is meditative music playing throughout, and though the cars from Broadway can be distracting when it’s really quiet (if you’re the only one there as I was), it’s a really relaxing lounge.
I’m not sure if the receptionist was new, but he didn’t know the process of signing in people with vouchers from Groupon — even though there were pages and pages of other customers, so I knew I was not the only one.
I had bought a voucher for 3 appointments of either 45-​minute upper-​body massage with herbal pad placement and essential oil or a 50-​minute foot-​reflexology. I went all three times for the upper-​body massage.
For my first appointment, I had an older Chinese man, and though I was in pain most of the time since he was pressing too hard, I forced myself through it since I thought it would ‘unwind’ my tightly knotted muscles. Bad mistake. Even after 3 days, I was sore. I decided that for next time, I would ask to have a gentler massage.
Near the end, the hot pack was placed on my shoulders. A bit hot at the beginning, but soothing afterwards. When the man came to pick it up, he said it’s done and «go drink water.» was all he said as he carried away the hot pack and that was that. The abrupt ending was kind of a turn-​off. He came by to clean out the garbage can at the cashier as I paid, so I guess he was preparing for the end of his shift? Though it was only 8:30pm, and they’re open till 10. But he didn’t say thank you and avoided any eye contact.
If you’re there with the voucher, you’ll be asked to pay for all three sessions’ taxes after the first session. Remember to know how much tip you want to give before hand as the % on the taxes (on the machine) doesn’t give you the right amount of tip for the service! (because it’s calculating a percentage on the taxes only, not on the service)
Second Time
My second upper body massage was a much better experience. A different receptionist greeted me who seemed new to the job again, but otherwise, I was served tea with 2 pieces of chocolate. Very nice! Perhaps they forgot it the first time I went?
This time, it was still 6:30pm on a Tuesday evening, and the staff were busy with 3 – 4 other customers, but I didn’t have to wait too long. The masseuse was a lady this time, and for most of it, I believe it was well done. I don’t like the slapping part as I am just skin and bones, so it wasn’t all too pleasant.
Third, Final Time
The receptionist this time was what seemed like the manager, whom I’d seen the previous two times. He greeted me and offered me tea and chocolates.
This time, it was a different Chinese man. From the moment I saw how he looked at me, I could sense something. There was a lot more direct physical contact (the other two used towels as much as possible to minimize skin contact — not that I am against skin contact in the first place), and it could be my imagination, but he worked on the lower end of my body the more than other two, though nothing that crossed the line. He was more curious about me, asking where I worked and if it was close by to this spa and such. Nothing terrible, but I don’t think I’d come back if he was the only one that worked there.
Overall, I like this place. Neat, peaceful, pretty good service and fair prices.

This place is really good and it is very reasonably price. Richard at the front desk is always super friendly. He makes sure that you always feel welcome. The massages are really good. I definitely recommend it.

I went there for a last minute 25 minute massage. I waited ten minutes to get in and a tall chinese guy was at the desk. He sat me and my friend in the chairs by the window so it wasn’t dim and relaxing and all I did was watch the cars go by. There was a large group of ladies being very loud and obnoxious the entire time and I told my massage girl that I was unable to relax and all she said was sorry. Her massage was nothing to write home about. Maybe I just got a bad chair and happened to go at a bad time when there was a bad crowd but when I told the owner I was not happy and I was unable to relax he didn’t even offer any type of compensation. The prices are better at Big Feet in Richmond but I don’t like the Big Feet on Granville. I think the place is nice and clean and maybe need to try again and get a different chair with a different therapist who at least knows what shes doing but I like Big Feet in Richmond better because they give great massages and cheap prices

I bought a package for 5 times on Groupons
Cost about $ 30 per massage. Not a whole lot of savings because the one I go to regularly cost $ 33 and do foot and upperbody.
The first 2 times that I went to this massage place was very good. The older guy is strong and hard and my 2^nd time was a chinese lady and shes strong and hard too.
However, my 3^rd time was horrible. I kept telling the massage therapist to do it harder and she said don’t worry, this is just for the warm up. But she was very weak, no pressure at all. After 20 minutes I asked her may you do it harder please because I can’t feel anything but she said this is as hard as I can go. I don’t understand why don’t she just tell me she can’t do it so I can change another person. She just wasted my chance and wasted my time and money. I didn’t want to ask for another person because I feel a bit rude if I did that. (It was the while lady around 35 – 50 years old. Iran? maybe) Dont choose her because she can’t do any good massages
The owner of this store is the tall chinese guy and he’s polite. I complaint to him and I was frustrated to receive a bad massage from this place when the first 2 times was wonderful. He told me to mention hard pressure next time on the phone.
4^th time, I made an appointment and this time I asked for a hard pressure massage therapist and I told the receptionist 3 times!!! Guess what? She gave me a male massage therapist but he’s not even professional. Not even an amateur. Not strong to give hard pressures at all. The most annoying thing that made me mad was when he used just one hand with his fingers and slightly touch my neck a bit and called it a massage. when he was doing that, he has another hand on his hip and standing on 1 foot while crossing over the other foot. t’s like he was not paying attention or don’t want to do it at all. He is the japanese guy around 20 – 25 years old. Do not choose him.
When I left, I was very pissed and didn’t like the service. The owner asked me how was it and I told him it was very horrible. I told them I wanted a hard pressure person and they gave me a weak person who probably just started this job recently. He told me to mention hard pressure on the phone next time and I said «I DID. 3 TIMES TOO «and he said oh really? he told the receptionist «you should give him the other guy.
Yep that is all. He didn’t offer me anything at all. Not that I want my money back but at least offer me something or a guarantee that I will have a hard pressure for my last massage.
I will never go to this shop again even with Groupon deal.
I will never trust Groupon’s recommendation because they said «Toe To Soul «have over 90% of customers recommendations.

It was my first time here, a friend highly recommended this place and told me to give it a try, so since I’m off today, I decided to treat myself to a nice spa session. I had the combo express 1 for 65 min that includes the 15 min upper body massage + 50 min foot reflexology as well as my first visit to receive a 10 min sea salt foot soak + 15 mins food scrub & foot massage. All that for $ 59 bucks. I love the sofa there while getting my foot reflexology done. I also find the back massage chair more comfy than the other places I’ve been to. Well, I’m glad I got a chance to try this place out, I will definately be back :)

After a weekend of running, dancing and sore feet my husband and I decided that this would be a great way to spend our Sunday afternoon.
I called at 11 am for an appointment at 1 and the gentleman was kind enough to squeeze us in. I was nervous being Chinese New Year but the gentleman was happy to book us in.
My husband’s service was incredible. We was thrilled to bits and was very relaxed while sipping on complimentary oolong tea and chocolates.
My service was done by a younger European woman who seemed awfully confused. She kept looking around to see what the other people were doing and I noticed that my service did not resemble that of the services being offered by the other reflexologists. While my service felt nice, the woman did very little other than rub my feet and calves. She did not find any pressure points and I left very disappointed.
I mentioned this when I left and they suggested I come back and try another person. If my husband’s service hadn’t been so wonderful I would say to avoid this place but I will give it another go.

A bit pricier at first glance: 48 min for $ 50, but when you lay back in these leather, super comfy lounge chairs that also recline, this is a bonus. I caught myself snoozing twice in the later part of the session ;)
Angel sure knows her pressure point around the feet: under, sides, top, and especially the heels. You do the amount of shopping and eating as I do, a weekly foot session is definitely a must ;) She did start off with a arm/​shoulder massage for about 5 min.
Near the end, when they bring out the wet hot towel to wipe off the oil, she still gave a 5-​min chopping motion along the legs, a nice bonus.
Nice touch they provide 2 chocolate snacks with your tea or water.
Free parking in the back, but what’s weird is that there’s no back entrance so you have to walk all the way around.
No amex.
But still highly recommended, given its proximity to DT nor do I have to go the Big Foot ones, which may be cheaper, but look like dumps.

Beautiful décor! Music is soothing. Love the ambiance. Perfect setting for a massage. There is just enough privacy if coming alone but also able to have massages together if wanted.
Charles was a great masseur; I love hard pressure and he was able to provide that for me! I had the 60 minute body massage and my mom had the 75 minute foot reflexology. It’s even better that it was buy one and get the second half off! Now that’s a deal!

I visited on a Social Shopper deal for Foot Reflexology + Crystal Mud Bath. I called a day ahead and had no trouble getting an appointment for the weekend.
I got there a couple minutes for my appointment, but had to wait since all (4?) therapists were occupied. Not a big deal, as I got to settle in to their comfy chairs while I waited, but it was a bit strange since the receptionist could’ve easily told me they were running 10 minutes late.
I had a piping hot mug of green tea and 2 chocolates to nibble on while I waited. The chairs reclined and there were nice side table/​arm rests for my purse, phone, and everything else. They had gauzy curtains to separate the chairs — very thoughtful.
The water was the perfect temperature… too hot for the first minute, but ah-​mazing for the next 10, instead of the often sad tepid soaks at other foot places. They cover the buckets with plastic bags, which they changed for each client. .
The reflexology session was incredible. Great pressure and they didn’t skimp on the time.
I would choose Toe to Soul over Golden Feet, for the ambiance, cleanliness, and service.

I did a combo of reflexology and chair massage for $ 56. Totally worth it.
The room: beautifully appointed wth dark hardwood, and blue sheer privacy curtains arojnd each dark leather chair. I was very impressed
The service: I am not a reflexology expert by any means, this was my second treatment. Foot soak was with sea salts in warm water. The treatment was only 25 minutes but it was very thorough and didn’t leave me wanting. The chair massage was also very thorough even though it was short too. I left feeling very relaxed and happy.
Will be back for sure.

Wow, had an amazing massage yesterday. I asked for hard pressure and got it! It was so amazing and and I walked out in bliss.

I really want to give more stars to this business but I just can’t. I appreciate the extremely friendly service, beautiful and clean environment, and their flexibility in taking last minute appointments, but for the entire time I was receiving my chair massage, I was so scared of getting injured. The lady went all out on me with very little analyzing of my muscles. I usually go to RMT for massages and I understand that they continually assess my back and muscles and would know which parts need more attention even without me telling them. They slowly and carefully apply deep pressure as needed. However, the lady I got just massaged everywhere with very intense pressure. I woke up the next day being in more pain than pre-​massage. Even though RMTs are double the price, I think it’s worth it. My friend had another man (kelvin) perform the massage and I think the experience was better. If you can’t afford RMT, I would most definitely choose this place over golden feet.

Toe to Soul Relax Lounge is clean and open. My massage therapist, Amanda, although not RMT certified was skillful to release tension from my shoulder and runner’s calves. There are duel massage rooms if you choose to spend a little R&R with a friend. This place isn’t meant to be fancy. Please don’t expect fluffy duvet beds and heaters like you expect from your typical five star hotel spa experiences. Guilty, because this was what I had initially imagined. Brought back to reality, from creeking massage tables and skillful hands, I was soon in zen mode.
After my 50 min deep tissue massage, I made my way to the front for a 25 min reflexology session. A hot tub of water with sea salt greeted me on a La-​Z-​Boy. Reflexology is considered alternative medicine and has been practiced for throughout ancient China. It involves applying pressure to areas of the feet which corresponds to various zones throughout the body. Reflexology can be painful. Pain can be associated with choosing the wrong pressure (reflexology beginners, I recommend mild pressure!) or trouble zones in your body. As my painful but enjoyable reflexology session comes to end end; my masseuse draped a hot towel over my legs for a final release of tense muscles.
Toe to Soul is opened late until 10pm and is perfect for those who work 9 – 5. After work hours are busy and can get a tad noisy. Come early to avoid the rush!

75min Foot Reflexology session with Leona today and it was GREAT!
I wanted the pressure to be therapeutic + relaxing and Leona was able to accommodate that. YES some pressure points on the feet hurt but that’s what I signed up for. If you are looking for a foot massage completely free of any discomfort then reflexology is probably not for you!
Leona was really knowledgeable and was able to answer my questions about what points corresponded to what organs in my body. I’m always so curious when a point is particularly sore which one it is.
I feel totally relaxed and blissed out now. I’ll be back to see Leona!

I went to Toe to Soul for the first time today with my husband, and we’ll definitely be back. The massage (50 min) was good (they checked to see if the pressure was okay, the draping was good) and the foot massage was great (25 min). We just wanted to try it out, but next time, we’ll go for longer treatments.
The room is nice and the foot massage chairs are really comfy. The therapists were excellent and talked with us just a little (not too much!!) and made us feel welcome.
Also, great hours. 10am to 10pm will definitely fit my schedule.
