I was really happy with my experience here. Ive known other people who have brought their bikes in here(because it is close to my workplace) and they have had mixed experiences, but mine was 100% positive. I came in to get a new screw put onto my fender as my basket had raddled it off. Once one goes, all the tuning goes down the drain. The same issue was happening with the fender too. I chatted with the owner(i think) for a bit, he was friendly, we looked over everything, discussed a stripped screw that I knew was going to be an issue and talked potential tune up. He quoted me on the screws and fixing the threading which is what i came in for. Price was good. Gave him the go ahead for specifically that. I asked him to call me once he had a better look over everything else to determine exactly what was needed and give me the price. He called me promptly and noted some other issues I had been putting off fixing, gave me a price for the whole thing, it was fair, I said go ahead. It was ready a day early and he called me to let me know. I think the service level was excellent, and yeah, he did sell me a tune up, but he did an EXCELLENT job. I am so happy with it. Everything feels perfect — much better than the last place I took it. Its noticeable the difference. So yeah, the guy did up sell me, but thats what shops do to stay in business and my bike feels like brand new. He also guarantees all the work, so I will definitely come back.

Dannu did a great job on an old bike. My friend gave me an old bike, from the 80s in reasonably good condition. Dannu gave it a great tune up, and honestly it runs amazing. Price seemed fair. This is a great bike shop for keeping older bikes working great.

You have to go here, this guy is the angriest, most condescending, shady person I have EVER encountered in retail, I was so entertained by him, it was like watching an accident where you want to turn away but you can’t because you can’t believe your eyes. His repair quotes were twice any other store, and his contempt for nearly everything was unparalleled .this store won’t last long, he will bury it with his personality disorder. The 5 star reviews on here are most definitely fake. Go to be entertained but I wouldn’t recommend it for anything else.

The guy that runs this place is an absolute prick… went in to get some advice for my bike and the guy tried to guilt trip me into buying something because I took up 5 minutes of his time. He is a severely twisted person and needs a lesson on how to treat and respect other people. He also tried berating me while I was walking out of the door. The 5 star reviews look way too fishy and think they were self posted by the owner. I do not reccomend this place to anyone and please do yourself a favour and just go somewhere else.

This guys ego is way to big for the shop hes in… gimme a break. There are way better shops out there with staff who can talk to you about your bike and what you need without being rude about it. you will get no respect here. Learn some new tricks old dog. …$ 25.00 to $ 30.00 to install a bottom bracket… and you might have it done by the end of the day. ha haha. what a joke! Went to OCB and did it myself in five min and it cost me $ 6. and even if I needed them to do it for me it would have only cost $ 12. Sure old Schwinns might be kinda neat cause your grandpa used to ride one. but they really aren’t a bike for everyday use. which is why you don’t see anyone riding them. They weigh a tonne and you cant get parts for them. nuff said.

The World Cycles won’t sell you a brand new Norco. They don’t have any Giants in stock. You won’t find a full suspension anything for sale inside these doors, that’s just not what this shop is about. A bike is a machine — it needs maintenance and care, and if given some attention it can last virtually forever. That’s where a shop like The World Cycles comes in! Everything from simple tune ups to full drivetrain upgrades can be had for a reasonable cost. This is a one-man shop so you always know who is working on your bike, and that it is being taken care of by a veteran of the industry, not some kid that the bike shop hired last week. Danu has the expertise to service virtually anything from a full brand new DHMTB to vintage Raleighs to prewar Schwinns. If it’s a bike, he can fix it!

Danu will charge a bit more for sales and service, but he guarantees his work, and never sells junk. What he doesn’t do for free, he will make up in commitment. If you need or want an old Schwinn cruiser, this is the place to be! Get one dialed in, and it will be the only bike you’ll ever need to own. Seriously. They/he are/is that good.
