Established in 2013.

Fed up with stuffy over priced Dr.‘s offices, and dodgy less than sanitary laser centers, the Vanity girls, Jessica and Natasha set out to create a new concept of «medi spa». One that offers a fresh experience, fun atmosphere and most importantly, delivers results! And thus the Vanity Lab was born, Vancouver’s newest medical aesthetics clinic.

Business Owner

With degrees in Kinesiology & science, Natasha originally planned to go into midwifery and spent three years on call for births as a birth doula & lactation specialist, working in hospitals in Canada & Africa. Always having a passion for both the sciences and all things beauty, it wasn’t until she combined the two that she was hooked! She then went on to study medical aesthetics with a curriculum of the highest caliber in the country.

I love the Vanity lab! I started coming here not long after it opened and all the staff who work here are super friendly and knowledgeable. They always have really great promos on their treatments, offering them at amazing prices.
I’ve been seeing Kim for Laser hair removal and she is awesome! She always makes me feel really comfortable during the treatment and is so gentle. Yet, she always knows exactly what my skin can take and how to provide me with the maximum results. I’ve been amazed at the results! In only 7 sessions, I’ve seen about a 75% decrease in my hair re-​growth. It’s been great.
Kim is also really knowledgeable on all the amazing product lines that they carry at the Lab and on skin/​health in general. I actually feel bad, cause I’m constantly harassing her at work to ask her a million questions, but she and everyone else there are so nice, they never seem to mind :)

Love, love, love the Vanity Lab! I’ve been coming here for over a year now and I really enjoy the service I receive. Bob is great! Obsessed with The Vanity Lab!
For years I’ve tried to find the perfect skin care products that suited my acne prone skin. I visited my family doctor and dermatologists who all just handed me a prescription for different pills, or recommended me skin care products that didn’t work. I did my research online to find a really experienced skin care specialist and found Bob and Natasha at The Vanity Lab.
My first consultation was a month ago with Bob. He is super informative, knowledgable and so easy to talk to! He made me feel very comfortable and recommended some of the products they offer that was tailored to my skin type. I was a little skeptical at first and told him I tried SO many different products that never ended up working and my money wasted. I’m so happy I took Bobs recommendations; does he ever know his stuff! Listen, if he tells you to use something, use it and continue to use it! For the first time in years my skin is starting to clear up and looking so much better. All I’ve been using was the products Bob recommended me, no laser or chemical peel treatments (yet). I did have my first chemical peel/​enzyme lift yesterday (this months special was on for $ 75 which is a GREAT price) and it went so well. I will definitely be getting more. I can’t wait to see what my skin will look like with each passing week.
What’s also great is that they have monthly promo specials, really good gifts with purchase (sometimes) and are very fair in price. So far my experience with The Vanity Lab has been nothing but 5 star. I haven’t met the rest of the team yet but I’m sure they’re all just as nice. Thank you, Bob! See you soon for my next peel :)

Just had my first skin tightening session done at Vanity Lab and from the looks of these 5 star reviews, I think I went on an «off» day. The lady that did the treatment, don’t know her name because she never introduced herself, was non-​smiling, not friendly and non-​talkative. She wasn’t mean or rude, she just didn’t say much or have any expression.
I got there 5 minutes early but the client who was there, arrived late so that made my treatment start 10 minutes late too. No big deal. I was then handed a form to complete and then taken into the back room. The place was clean and modern. The lady explained the treatment and the procedure went fine. The overall service was just so-​so. There was no conversation about my skin or how to treat it or protect it from the sun and she didn’t suggest products for it. I was in and out of there in 30 minutes. Even when I left her a tip, she didn’t even smile. I did read Unilocal reviews prior to the appointment and unfortunately, I didn’t receive 5-​star treatment.

I was previously going to another laser technician and sought out someone new because I wasn’t impressed with the effectiveness of the treatment and wondered if there was anywhere a little less expensive. I had more hair than I’d bargained for after a year of appts and almost $ 700.
A friend recommended Vanity Lab and after my first treatment I realized I’d been doing it wrong all along! This place is A++. Crystal clean, friendly staff, very thorough treatment. Proper eye protection from the lasers and the technician talks you through what she’s doing. Also, the cooling fan (the «zimmer») is a really nice addition to what can otherwise be somewhat uncomfortable.
As far as I’m concerned don’t waste your time or money trying anywhere else.

I have been only been here a few times but have to write a review to say the service here is incredible. Despite how flawless Bob’s skin is he makes you feel comfortable and happy with exactly who you are. He does a great job providing you with the service that you have scheduled and if you ask, is happy to educate you on services you may have been curious about without making you feel pressured to do anything. I feel like this is the beginning of a long relationship between me, my face and the very talented Bob.

I’m on my 5th IPL at the Vanity Lab. Bob is so wonderful to work with. He’s professional, caring and very knowledgeable. I’m really happy with the results so far. Despite years of trying different things this is the only thing that’s getting rid of my sun damage.

Vanity Lab offers a friendly yet very professional, luxe atmosphere, great service, and accessible downtown location.
I’ve had IPL photofacials at three different places now. Of the three, Vanity Lab’s was the most thorough IPL itself I’ve received yet, and the service surrounding it was the most attentive. This is the clinic I recommend to my friends.
On my third visit, my technician Rob noticed that I had a bit of tan, and suggested we reschedule my appointment to allow him to do a more effective IPL procedure later on, although he also offered the option of a lower intensity facial that day. I appreciate that kind of attention to results.

The Vanity Lab is tucked in Yaletown, a very boutique and intimate styled spa. From my initial phone call in Dec to back and forth emails and finally coming in for my booked services, Vanity Lab has exceeded my expectations. Natasha and Jessica are amazing, they both are so helpful and very down to earth. I asked a million questions while waiting and they both answered them with ease. My treatments were laser and micro dermabrasion (both done by Natasha). During my session with her she always asked me if the laser machine was on too high and reassured me I was almost done haha. Microdermabrasion was amazing as well, loved how she explained to me the products and the differences between diamond head vs crystal head. Overeall it was a awesome experience and I look forward to going back =)
