Specialties

The historic, three-​level Portside Pub has been built with traditional East Coast pub culture as its inspiration. The result: a comfortable, sociable place for people to gather.

Twenty-​four craft beers pump through 48 taps. The beers range from local favourites to American mainstays to internationally recognized names, such as the infamous Delirium Tremens. Two cask engines deliver the freshest and latest from the region’s top breweries. The drink menu is rounded out by a specially selected assortment of spirits and two wine taps.

Hungry? Sample the East Coast-​inspired comfort food from our new kitchen. We offer an assortment of Maritime favourites, including garlic cheese fingers with authentic Halifax donair sauce, mussels and clams with succulent sauces whipped up daily, and lobster rolls made from the freshest East Coast lobster.

On weekends, the pub turns into a nightclub as our resident DJs Rhek, Relly Rels, Brendan Butter and The Stunt Man spin Good Music that makes you move

History

Established in 2013.

The Portside Pub is the latest undertaking by entrepreneur Mark Brand, owner of Save On Meats/​Boneta/​The Diamond/​Sea Monstr Sushi/​Sharks & Hammers/​Catalog Gallery. Originally from the East Coast, Brand grew up with a strong pub culture that he feels is lacking in Vancouver. The Portside Pub aims to be the friendliest pub in Vancouver, where anyone and everyone feels at home.
