The Cat Nanny

Wow — I couldn’t be more impressed with this company! This is my first time hiring a catsitting service and I’m so happy with The Cat Nanny. Marta was extremely prompt with all of her replies, and Anke who came to care for my cat was absolutely wonderful. In fact, I’m pretty sure my house was cleaner when I came home!
Anke sent wonderful updates/​photos twice a day which meant so much. I could see in the photos that my cat had a wonderful time with Anke. Josephine almost looked disappointed when she saw it was me who was home and not Anke!
I’m emailing Marta right now with all of my future bookings!

I’ve had Anke as cat nanny to our kitty for multiple times now and am always impressed by how prompt and professional she is. Marta heads the operation and she is very responsive when you email her about date availability. Anke also is very good with email and shows up promptly to pick up keys and give them back as well. She has dropped them off a number of times too since she was cat-​sitting in a neighboring apt. I think it’s their protocol to come over and chat with you to get to know your schedule with your cat and where everything is like food and kitty litter. They have you fill out a couple forms including feeding habits and how much to feed your kitty so there is as little disturbance in their routine as needed! Anke also emails me photos of my kitty along with a brief update so I won’t have to worry when I’m on vacation about how she is doing. Whenever I come back from my trips, I can tell Anke has washed the kitty dishes and kept the kitty litter clean. She even vacuums so there is no kitty litter crumbs left behind. I would definitely recommend Anke if you live in the Burnaby area. :)

We needed to leave home for the holidays and are new to the area so we have no friends or family to help us out. I called the cat nanny, filled out some simple paperwork, and made an appointment to meet with our sitter Milly. Milly stopped by a couple weeks prior to our trip, went over the cats schedule and got a copy of the keys. We were honestly a bit nervous about having strangers sit our babies but we were reassured by millys visit. Milly sent us numerous email and text updates while we were away which gave us piece of mind. I would recommend The Cat Nannys service to anyone.

My husband and I had to go back to the States for the holidays, we didn’t have anyone to take care of our cats and we were very nervous too place them into a cat hotel. Not only is it more expensive, but our cats are very particular and have never stayed anywhere that is not our house.
We contacted cat nanny and they were very understanding of how nervous we where about leaving our cats with someone new.
Milly came over two weeks before we left to get to know the cats and to get details about feeding times etc.
She came everyday for a full week in the mornings, sent us pictures and emails daily.
We came home and our cats were well.
