Half bakeware store, half café, all awesome. It’s a great stop if you’re wandering up 10th Avenue and one of many cute independent shops in the area. It’s not a high tea restaurant, but there are sit down spaces, food and baked goods, and tea of course. I love browsing the bakeware and kitchen accessories while I wait for my drink. I can’t resist the cute cookie cutters and the adorable patterned paper muffin cups.

Is it a lunch place that also sells kitchen supplies or a kitchen supply store with a bakery? While you are deciding what T Room is, you can go outside and enjoy one of the most lovely patios to have a cup of coffee and a pastry or a bowl of soup and a sandwich. They regularly offer a couple of soups, four or so panini sandwiches and some crepes on their lunch menu which changes from day to day. Everything that I have had there for lunch has been wonderful. Although I personally do not have any issues with gluten, they offer up some gluten– free options in the dessert area. I have yet to have any of their pastries or cookies but they look delectable. I think on a future visit I will have to eat dessert first so I have room for it! The T Room doesn’t really have servers. You order your food at the counter and they deliver it to you at the table, indoor or outdoor, that you select yourself. At times my food delivery has gotten mixed up with other parties or out of synch with my dining companions, but they are quick to make things right and are very pleasant to deal with. If they smooth out the whole food delivery system and they buy either taller outdoor chairs or shorter outdoor tables then they will be 5 stars all the way. I am 5′ 8″ and I am too old for a booster seat!

A cute little place. There is a garden at the back and very few tables inside. One half is full of cute little unique items for baking or baby /wedding shower ideas. We tried the mini high tea package. The table next to us had the full package and it looked like way too much food that we would not have been able to finish. It was in the summer so very hot and I was dying inside. It felt like there was no air conditioning and all doors were open. The service was a bit slow but she did check in a lot. The food was somewhat filling and the tea was very good. The scone for me was way too hard and not really edible, but everything else was pretty good. It did not compare to the Fairmont for sure, but not too bad. Reservations are required for the high tea.

Super Cute. I came here for lunch with my grandmother(it’s her favorite little spot) and enjoyed a sandwich and iced tea. It was summer so I did the iced instead of hot, but in terms of the attention they pay to it for the brew, doesn’t change. The tea was delicious and they have such a Variety! Also, they have some gluten free deserts that a bought for a friend of mine who has the allergy and she said they were delicious. I highly recommend coming here for a quick lunch or to come catch up with a friend in a cute and cozy little place.

Some might not think of high tea as a hip lunch place, but this T room is a classy, modern store in a sleek bright environment – even on a rainy day. They honoured an expired gift certificate of mine and served the most delicious sandwiches, scones and pastries(that were quite light). The server was attentive and kind. The tea was delicious. There was more than enough food for two of us. We left satisfied with goodies to go. If you want to do a special lunch with your mom, gf or even a boyfriend, come here for a change. You won’t be disappointed.

Mixed concept bakery(with freshly baked goods and nice French style desserts) and kitchen supply store. Offers a nice selection of pastries that vary regularly based upon the baker’s whims as well as sandwiches and soups that are normally quite good and sometimes creative depending on the mood of the day.
