Good value, fast service, never super busy. I get everything to go and they’re always friendly. Not the greatest sushi I’ve ever had but when you’re busy and in a hurry its perfect — and I’m picky with my cheaper sushi!

Fast service, fresh sushi and a big cup of tea. What more can you ask from a sushi place really? I can be picky about sushi and this place is affordable, the staff are friendly and the food is quality.

The rolls at Sushi Library are always fresh(based on my own experience), and are always consistent in terms of size and quality, which surprisingly doesn’t happen at a lot of other places. My favourite roll is the Crazy Roll, which is really reasonably-priced for the size of roll it is. Their tuna sashimi isn’t bad quality either. However, I don’t recommend the chicken karaage(too dry and overcooked) or the sunomono(really watery and bland). We order takeout from here at least once a month because we live so close, but we would definitely order more if they didn’t close so early! The takeout menu we have says they close at 9PM but most times I call at 7PM and they’re already closed.

Very small-ish location. I’ve had sushi from here many times on study breaks. Nothing too complicated. Just a basic avocado roll with some cucumbers. Fast service and cheap.

Solid 3.5 stars. While not authentic, it’s good value, had their Cali roll for $ 3.50 which is priced good for DT standards. Friendly service. It’s got the red décor theme going on, and window seating facing Hamilton St. It’s geared more towards the students market, with convenience in mind. Located beside the Flight Centre. Not date material unless you don’t care. The washroom is a bit of an odd setup: they give you the key but you have to leave the premise, and walk up a few doors to get into another doorway. Closed Sundays.

Probably one of the worst tasting sushi places to go. We came around dinner time cause we were visiting from Toronto and were starving and desperate. The ginger ale we ordered had black dust all over the can. The tempura did not look like tempura. The Gyoza were only boiled not fried. The dragon roll tasted very stale. The salad, not so tasty. On the positive side, The great part of the meal was the beef teriyaki and the miso soup. Also, The service was amazing!

I went by this little hidden sushi place and went in for a bite. They had a colorful menu poster at the window, and I started to look for my lunch. I picked California Roll and hoped to continue my trip quickly after this. I ordered with a young girl, and told her what I want, and she nodded and wrote on a piece of paper & left. I waited for 15 minutes, and still there was no sign of my dish. Then, I called her to ask for my California Roll, she said she will check for me. Another 5 minutes went by, she came back and apologized for the delay. The dish then showed up in the next 5 minutes. The food was ok, but the service was slow. I understand it was probably a busy time during lunch time, but it shouldn’t take 20+ minutes for a California Roll ! If I came by the area the next time, I probably will think twice before I went in.

Friendly customer service. Thumbs up for that. The price are fair. But the sushi are average. The rice is Ok but a little bit too sticky for my palate. They did some renovation so the place is clean. Well located at the entrance of the library. For a quick lunch it can be an option. I will probably give an another shot to this place. But If I’m around and If I suddenly have a craving for sushi.
