Really you wanted to charge me $ 2.99 lb for apples that didn’t look aesthetically appealing? I came here before an Elite event for some produce with the dreams of making a nice apple salad… dream shattered thank to the quality of apples and price.

In general prices are Ok, but I got suckered by the same strawberry scam that Jeff M. got pulled into. I mean seriously? The fact that they even tried to sell those strawberries really changed my mindset of «Granville Island is kinda expensive but at least the produce is good». Now I don’t know.

i bought these strawberries on sale: «Sweet Strawberries, 2 quarts for $ 3»
Turned out almost all the strawberries were a day from being fully rotten. The underside of ALL the strawberries at the top were over ripe/​rotten. Very sneaky. The ones that weren’t rotten weren’t even sweet. (sigh)…

They have really fresh and tasty produce. Though they might charge slightly more than other places, they also stock items that other places within the market don’t have, so it’s a trade-​off.

Great fresh produce. But they’re almost ALWAYS more expensive than the other produce stands if you go in further. I bought cherries for $ 4.99 per pound and later I found the same great cherries inside more for $ 3.99. Same with strawberries.
A bit disappointing.
