While attending a few conventions at the nearby convention centre, I ate my lunches at this Subway. Its location seems to attract a great deal of tourists, who come to our city for Subway. Obviously this is like all other Subways with the same cheap ingredients and processed cheese, etc. What lacks is friendly staff. These people only want your money. I paid by credit card both times, the first time the total was $ 7.83 and they rounded up to $ 7.85 and charged me that for an electronic transaction. The other time I paid the total was $ 4.22 and they did not round down. They only seem to round if it puts more money in their pocket. Their sandwiches also do not follow the Subway formula. Expect less in your sandwich.

Labstah! They had a lobster sub. Say what? We don’t have that in the U.S. So we had to try it! Otherwise we wouldn’t have wasted a meal in Canada on Subway since we have Subway back home. This location is in the Waterfront area on the west side of the convention centre. The sandwich makers were friendly and it seems like a basic Subway. We got a foot long lobster roll for $ 15CAD. We thought that was pricey for a foot long but it was lobster! Well let me say, definitely not worth it. They load your sandwich up with veggies but the lobster is pretty nonexistent in that sea of bread. It didn’t even seem like they covered the entire bread with lobster meat. The best thing was they had Ruffles poutine chips. I hope they don’t make all their sandwiches like this… tons of bread, then piled on veggies with a smidgen of meat. This would have been two stars but I have three stars since the sandwich guy was nice and arranged the sandwich pretty good except for the meat issues

Staff couldn’t have been less friendly. No one in line except me and still stressed out like there would be hundreds waiting. Sandwich wasn’t assembled properly as one would be used to at subway. Definitely not recommended to go there

I understand that the«Sub of the Day Deal» dissapeared for a week than came back with an increase in price — from $ 2.99 to $ 3.49… I know that not everyone is happy but I guess even with the recession happening, inflation still exists. I decided to get a regular 6 inch sub and was pleasantly happy with the amount of meat that was put on it… some places are just stingy and put one slice just enough to cover the length of your bread… I got at least 3 which was very filling. Toppings and sauces weren’t shabby either. Makes for a good lunch.

An alright sandwich, and the only reason I say this is because they had no oil or vinager to pu ton my sandwich. I think BC might not have that for their sandwiches, not sure.
