Surprisingly there’s barely any line and yet the barista screw up on who needs to order next and giving customer’s drink in different orders. I was at the front of the line and the barista called next so I went up and she left me to do something else. Came back and asked who’s next? Umm… me? I’m standing in front of you. Do you need glasses??? After all the ordering was done, the person’s behind me got their orders and just when the barista was about to hand me my order, another customer started asking her something. Instead of handing me my order I stood there for an extra 1 to 2 minutes just to get my drink when it was already done. Oh by the way, the double fudge chocolate bar frappé is pretty good especially if you like chocolate. I got it half sweet ’cause I don’t like overly sweet stuff.

One of my favorite Starbucks locations downtown. They’ve never made any of my weird drink requests wrong, and we went here after the one a block away really messed up a drink for my friend. The girl gladly wrote it down and they made it again for us so we didn’t have to walk back. Staff is friendly, and very courteous.

This one was right off my new bus route. I find the staff to be impolite, service slow and that they are more interested in chatting amongst themselves than helping the customer. Taking my business to the oak and 22nd one or Granville island one. Not my bus stop anymore.

Like this place! The are busy in the morning, but stuff is friendly and polite. They always knew your order(if you are permanent client).I could’t complain Love this place!

My best friend and I love this location. Very friendly and humorous staff. Before a Commodore or Vogue show my best friend and I hit up this joint to shop talk, have a snack and kill time before going into the venue. We find it more amusing to talk to coffee lovers than getting into the venue early to talk to bar stars. They are a smaller location, therefore, their cooler isn’t as stalked as the other locations, however, beggers can’t be choosers. Because it is so close the venue’s we can keep an eye out for when the doors open so that we are not waiting in the cold but rather inside with a nice warm lattee.

One of the better Starbucks in downtown. Very good ambiance, friendly staff and great service. There is always a lineup here, but the staff is able to pick up the pace very nicely and get through everyone’s order quickly. Try their Clover machine instead of your regular view if you got the time. Yes it can get rowdy sometimes(there was a fight in here moments ago), and all sorts of ppl make their way here. But this is downtown core, and on Granville no less. If this bothers you, then visit one of the more quiet ones on Robson.

If you are not going take the time and effort to spell my name correctly(which would actually aid in learning who your regulars are, therefore helping increase sales) or get my drink order correct then don’t even bother. I actually walk out of my way to work now just to go to a different coffee shop because the staff here are either poorly trained, brain dead, or just don’t even care about customer service.

The Starbucks that I normally hit up on my way into the office doesn’t redeem rewards because of licensing so I had to come here. Let me just start with the service. There was no service with a smile, no asking my name for my order and no warmth to the whole experience. The experience was so blah that there isn’t much more I can say. It’s sad really because I want to like them, I really do. I don’t do good when I don’t like something.

More public bathrooms downtown, lower prices. Shouldn’t have to buy a coffee to use a toilet, or 12% GST I waited almost 30 minutes for a one stall filthy toilet with urine on the seat, because there were no public washrooms in downtown vancouver. The Sky train has no public toilets. Vancouver can afford to bring the Winter Olympics, here charge the highest prices in the world for food, housing, and a controlled nanny state with a 300% markup on alcohol sales, but no place to take a piss except some alleyway. Most livable city? not!

I’m going back to Tim Horton’s after this morning… don’t bother asking my name if your going to give me a completely different name than what i said. I actually spelled it out on 2 occasions and how they got Rachel I’ll never know… then pushed the drink at me this is yours after I ask what’s going on with my order, i get to walk around morning with a cup with some other chicks name. real great start to my morning. –sigh–

What. I don’t know that I belong here. Here, one of the most generic chains to ever grace the planet — I don’t know that I belong here. Here, at this partcular location, where every type of person that has ever walked the streets of Vancouver(literally, I mean this not as hyperbole, but quite literally *every* type of person that could or has ever been to this city is in this Starbucks at any given moment) — I don’t know that this is my place. Also, the coffee is cold. When it’s meant to be hot, the coffee is cold. Entertaining though. Moreso than any other Starbucks I’ve been to. So, for that: three stars?

Grabbing breakfast at a fast food place is always tricky, –there’s never any healthy options. Starbucks is a great place for me to grab some food in under 8 minutes tops. I love their Egg White Spinach Wrap or their Ham and Egg on an English Muffin. Both are heated up for you and you’re out the door as quickly as you ordered. Note — Make sure to go before 8:45AM though, it was a mad rush for coffee that at time.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, you don’t go to Starbucks for the food and drink. You know that’s going to be ok because you’ve already been to dozens of Starbucks. You go there because of the staff, because they’re friendly and knowledgable and usually genuinely pleasant people. This Starbucks has all that, plus a decent amount of seating, plus a crazy convenient location. Huzzah!

I told the cashier that I absolutely NEEDED a venti java chip frapp because I had a bad day at work, she was genuinely sympathetic and wished me a better day. Then she added free extra whip. God bless you, Starbucks.

We went in just after 10pm on a Friday night, and managed to score the corner table in the back, which has nice perspective for people-watching. The noise level was pleasant for conversation, and as a total bonus, they still had my fave pumpkin spice — including the sprinkles! — in stock at the beginning of March. I like to have my pumpkin spice lattes as long as it feels cold outside, and since I was born in California, that means way past March … Like as in June. I also wear long johns every day from September to basically May. Which was probably more info than you bargained for in a Starbucks review ;)

very convenient meeting place downtown right by the Vancouver City Centre skytrain station. And free wifi too! otherwise it’s the standard Starbucks coffee and fare.

Starbucks is kinda meh, but consistently so! Okay, I like to admit that I like the fancy stuff, but I still secretly think of Starbucks as my comfort junk food café… like McDonalds. Really bad, but it makes me all warm inside. I’m here about 3 – 4 times a week due to working right next to them. The staff is always nice(some of them remember my drinks), and they get through lines pretty quickly, even when the Olympics were on! I love their music too — it’s the same in every store, but hey, any place that plays Neil Young consistently is awesome in my books. I love getting half-sweet chai lattes in winter, and coffee frappuccinos and easy-ice black tea lemonades in the summer. I must say though, that I hate the coffee with a passion. There was this one time they had free Pike Place if you brought your own mug, and I had to dump that stuff out, ugggh. I didn’t learn my lesson though, and tried the next day… same thing. I’m dumb. Just get any other drink(where the cream and sugar mask the taste)…but no plain coffee!
