I’ve bought the last 4 pairs of shoes I own here, so I must like it here. The prices are lower than other Robson shoe stores I’ve looked in. The selection and sizes are somewhat limited, but then again how many pairs of shoes does one man really need…

Omg shoes! One of my coworkers bought a pair of cute flats here for $ 40, and I refused to believe there was a store that existed on Robson Street that could sell shoes that cute for such a low price, so I went to see for myself. I had secretly tried on my coworkers shoes after she left for the day to see how they fit and see if it was worth my time to venture into the pissing rain in search of new flats. They were worth it. I will definitely be back for more flat shoes to match all of my nerdy office attire.

My husband needed a pair of black shoes for work because his were worn out, so we went in on Boxing Day and bought a pair on sale. They fell apart within the month so we went to bring them back. The salesgirl we dealt with seemed hellbent on getting us to spend more money. She tried to pressure us into taking store credit and spending $ 30 on another similar pair of shoes. My husband told them they could either give him the same pair of shoes for the same price or give him a refund, but he wasn’t spending any more money at that store. They told him they’d replace the shoes, but they didn’t have any of that kind there at the time, so they’d call him within a week, once the shoes were in. Of course, we never got a call, so we went in two weeks later to find that they did have them in stock, and got a replacement pair. When these fall apart again, I’m going in there to demand a full refund. The prices are great, but their customer service is pretty poor. We won’t be buying anything else from them.

Spring has a wide variety of cheap, appealing shoes in a variety of styles for men & women. This is where I found a pair of office appropriate shoes that I actually LIKED the night before starting to temp after being self-employed & office-clothesless for my entire adult life. Unfortunately by the time I made it to the bus the next morning, my feet were in quite a bit of discomfort, and by the time I made it home after work that evening, I was standing in a pool of blood. I still have the shoes, they still look good, I just make sure to never wear them for more than two hours at a time. Today I was on a mission to acquire silver strappy heels for a wedding. While every shoe store along that strip has a few pairs of silver heels, Spring had the closest pair to what I was picturing in my mind, and they were the cheapest($ 39.99). I’m hoping that a strappy sandal won’t chew up my feet as much as the enclosed leather heels I purchased previously.

As far as I can tell, Spring seems to be the best shoe-deal on Robson(most seem waaay over priced). They have a good selection of cute sandals right now, and are totally the right price. An easy win for some needed retail therapy.

if my exchange rate was like it used to be back in the day, i would have liked it better and maybe bought a few pairs of shoes… great fit, look and price. cannot beat that.
