Gorgeous store! much more bigger, brighter, and a nice chandelier of track lights throughout the store.

There comes a time in a woman’s life where she needs to accept defeat and purchase acceptable, warm winter footwear. Sometimes that time comes right at the perfect time of year, early fall. I am moving to a colder location and decided it would be good to grab my boots before heading East. I wandered into B2, not really sure what I needed, or to be honest what would actually help me survive a real winter. After looking confused and picking up and putting different boots down with no notice from the staff I wandered over and asked for help. A lovely sales associate named Julie(I believe) helped me right away. She brought out the three boots I’d been looking at and then brought out a couple more that she thought would be more acceptable for what I was needing. She was fantastic, she helped me go through the different options, filled me in on how to care for each of them, suggested different things I didn’t even know I’d need to know about shoes in the winter and was generally really awesome. I had to run back to work and so didn’t have time to decide or purchase them at the time. Which is unfortunate, because when I went back a week later I had a much less enjoyable time. The sales associate that eventually helped me(after following him around as he talked to his other associates) was really rude. Teased me when I said I wasn’t sure if they’d have the shoe in(how was I supposed to know). Told me after looking around they didn’t and I had to ask if they did orders or if should be looking for something else(another sales associate eventually offered to order them in for me). It was a shame, because I was so happy before. I’ll go back because they seem like they know what they’re doing. I just will be sure to avoid the snarky sales person.

I was in a bit of an conundrum one day. My boots were starting to rip(after probably 4 – 5 years of love), and I was uncomfortable walking around. Instead of being a normal person, and going home and getting another pair… I decided to stop in here because it was convenient! I was originally going to get a pair of boots, but since most of them were made in China, even though they were using leather, and were $ 300 – 500, I decided not too. For essentially poorly made shoes, with crappy designs I opted to get a pair of MK flats, because everything else was u g l y. Their counterpart Browns definitely has a better selection, and they offer various other brands. Here, I saw a lot of the Browns line. I mean, I would come again to browse, but would go to Holts(eeep, you know how I feel about them), or The Bay.

I have mixed feelings about this place. On one hand, I have bought several pairs of expensive shoes from them as well as their own ID brand which is good quality. On the other hand, my kiss clasp gorgeous purse — the frame was very poorly made, one of the joins broke only after few uses and now the purse won’t close. When I dropped by the store they don’t me that there is nothing they can do. So I think I will shop with caution from them.

Dying to show some attitude through your feet? You’ll want to head straight to B2 on Robson Street. The funky, street-oriented little sister of luxe shoe emporium Browns, B2 won’t let you down when you’re on the hunt for tall patent platform boots, killer red stilettos, edgy wooden wedges, or colourful kicks. For serious.

Being the shoe-aholic that I am, this shop is a little piece of heaven for me. They carry everything a shoe lover could ever think of — from Manolos and Jimmy Choos to Puma and Lacoste… There is something for everyone here! Not to mention, they have their super comfy«browns» line, that are fairly affordable and look like a million bucks! They also have a great selection of hangbags — from Diesel and Adidas to LAMB and Browns Couture. A must stop along Robson Street for everyone — Men and Women!

All clichéd shoe fetishes aside, this place is a dream. I have vague recollections of it being available exclusively in Holt Renfrew as a tiny boutique within a tradition of luxury. Since then, Browns B2 has popped up all over Vancouver, with locations in Oakridge Centre, Pacific Centre and Robson Street. Stocked with Pradas, Jimmy Choos, Marc Jacobs and their own eponymous line, Browns, this is the place to find dancing shoes, party shoes, trainers, winter boots and everything in between.
