The store is big, in size, compared to all the other Source stores in the city, this one is also very well staffed, to the point I’ve seen 4 to 5 staff members at any one time working in this store. Why the 3 star you ask, it’s just you don’t see happy staff in here, and sometimes to the point they seem to belittle the regular consumer. If you have been to this store, you probably know which individuals I would be talking about. Other than that, they carry a great assortment of things, computers, cell phones(and providers), video games, wires and cables(you may be missing that one you just don’t know what it is called… they should be able to help), batteries, headphones, tv’s, it’s an electronics store, that is for sure! The store is on the side of the mall not many people come to, if you know where Kin’s Market is, then you know where this is. Not much options in this place for electronics, you may as well come here.

Maybe b/c I’m also in sales but these guys, well, Billy in particular, knows his stuff – probably just a bit too much into ‘it’. He gave me so many options between the different plans, and really wanted to help me save $ by comparing cancelling my current phone plan versus getting a ‘free’ phone w/Virgin or Bell. I rarely venture into the Source but being across from FIDO kiosk, perhaps they have to be competitive! would recommend if any Unilocaler needed some objective advice. He didn’t seem to favour one or the other.

wouldn’t even give one star. im an asian too but seriously the chinese sales people not only don’t know what they are selling and gave me the wrong product for my HDMI connector, they all also were so rude and i had to demand for them to apologize to me. what happened was that i showed them the photos of the back of my HDTV so they know what cable is suitable for my TV. but then they flip through my iphone without asking me. I had person photos on my iphone and i only showed them to look at that photo NOTOTHERPHOTOS! they acted like nothing happened altho i complaint so i had to say i demand apologies twice but still didnt say sorry and didnt even seem like having any courtsey or manner or any basic human decency, chinese. wow. they weren’t even old.

I went to get a battery for my car remote. The salesperson was friendly, and offered me a 3-year replacement plan for $ 1.50. I assumed it was only once, but the receipt says«two replacements only»! All you have to do is bring in the battery and tell them your name and postal code, which you provide at time of purchase. Before that, I was looking at something else, and a different friendly employee answered my questions. I usually end my transactions at these kind of stores with no special impressions — just got stuff done — but my experience today was very good.
