Precision Painting

These guys are fast and cheap but do poor quality work. We were really surprised at how sloppy their work was and in the end, we brought it a seasoned painter to clean up their deficiencies (spending more money).
Tyler is young and not very experienced, which was evident in so many ways once we started working with him: lacks proper equipment for paint projects, under estimates the time required to do a good job and ends up having to burn the midnight oil to complete work on time, had an attitude if his work was ever questioned.
Shannon is even less experienced than Tyler and does a lot of the baseboard cutting. She is mediocre at best.
These guys never fulfilled their quote — we caught them cutting corners and using shitty tools for the job.
For example, their rollers were dirty and left dust/​debris to dry on our walls, they don’t use proper microfiber rollers (more expensive), they use cheap paint brushes that leave thick brush stroke marks, they didn’t fill in holes as agreed, they don’t remove light plates or hooks or nails and paint over them (!!? who DOES that?)…The best part was when they didn’t understand the different kinds of paint and what needed to be used for what; we had to explain it to them. I could go on but the long and short is that if you want a cheap basement suite rental unit painted quickly, these guys are probably fine. If you have a nice place and want a nice paint job, do not hire these guys.
The painter we brought it afterward to fix Tyler’s paint work spent a couple of days sanding down and re-​doing large chunks of walls, ceiling cutting, scraping dried paint drips… We spent time using paint thinner to remove paint they spilled on our wood furniture as well. I wish I could turn back time and hired the more expensive quote from the get-​go. In this case, you get what you pay for.

These are by far the best painters in Metro vancouver. They gave me a very competitive and affordable quote.
Their service was great, I had Tyler and Shannon paint my interior home and for two people to finish a fairly large job in such a short amount of time was phenomenal, not to mention the QUALITY of their work.
I would refer Precision Painting to anyone and they will definitely get a call back from me for future projects.

I bought a 3 bedroom condo Downtown Vancouver. It was all white, the trim, baseboards, bathrooms, closet doors, and bathrooms. I’m the type of person to enjoy color.
I called some painting company’s to give me an estimate to get my place repainted and make it a little more «me». The first company that gave me an estimate showed up a half hour late and was not well kept. He gave me a quote that was a little to low in my opinion for the amount of work needed. The second company I called, the estimator was on time but was asking way too much for the amount of work needed.
I finally found Precision Painting on Google Listings and they came to do an estimate the next day on time and promptly. Tyler was clean cut and I could tell he knew what he was doing. He gave me helpful advice and plenty of colors to choose from his swatches. He gave me a quote for my home that was just the right price.
Their crew Completed my condo in 2 days and the quality was fantastic. Also, I was so happy with the work they completed. I recommend Precision Painting to my friend that just got married and bought a new home that needed painting.
