Onyx Aesthetics Studio

Got gel nails done at Onyx today. I can honestly say they have never looked this amazing. Highly recommend this place if you want beautiful nails.

Best place ever to get your nails done. If you pay special attention to creativity, detail and cleanliness, treat yourself at the classiest aesthetics studio out there! Linda and her team are true artists with a very high level of integrity. Truly impressed in every way each and every time I visit.

The shop is extremely cute and well-​maintained. The location is perfect! But I am not happy AT ALL with my nails. I’ve given Onyx 3 tries and all 3 sets of shellac polish nails peeled within a week and a half. The polish bubbled too! On top of that, two of my nails have peeled completely off! –and I have super strong nails– I’m not sure why this has happened. I told the shop owner that my nails peeled after a week and a half and she told me gel polish nails last up to 2 weeks… Not in my 3 years of getting my nails done has this been a true statement!

I found Onyx on Insta and was super curious to check it out. I have been getting gel polish for about 9 months but what I didn’t realize is that there is a HUGE difference between shellac and the gel polish I was getting at the Chop-​shop down the road. Don’t be fooled like I was; even if the salon is spotless and decorated beautifully, if they are grinding your nails down it is a chop shop. Onyx is NOTHING like the other salons I’ve been to. It is quaint and beautiful. The calligraphy gallery wall makes me smile everytime I’m in. Linda (the owner) is amazing and her staff are all very talented and kind. I have had a few bespoke designs that make my heart swoon and many people have complimented me on them. They offer you tea and sparkling water when you arrive and treat you like a total queen.
Because of Onyx and the CND Shellac Polish my nails are becoming healthy again!!! I HIGHLY recommend this salon!!!

I walked in 45mins till close and they still took me in even though I had to wait for their last client to wrap up and it was about closing time. I just needed my shellac polish removed because it was chipping away really badly (I got it done at another nail studio). I wanted a quick regular polish this time for lower maintenance and the nail tech/​owner reshaped my nails and they looked much better… I didn’t even realize it could of been refined to look much better but it did! It was such a cute spot, I’ve never been to such a unique nail studio before where everything is so streamline and trendy. I also like the little added touches of décor they had in the space and the sparkling water with a cute paper straw bundled together with the bottle which is black & white to match the décor. Definitely will be going back :)

Great job, ended up getting nail art for the first time and loved the results. Highly recommend it. Attention to detail you can tell they are skilled.

This place is so cute! Absolutely love the gallery wall and their mini Pellegrino water bottles. The nails are great — they do nice designs and pay close attention to detail. The girl who did my nails was helpful, gentle & listened to what I want. Great addition to the neighborhood!

Linda and her team are absolutely fantastic nail artists! They gave me an amazing Shellac mani last week with a really cool design that I love. I’ve been getting compliments ever since. Will definitely be back and will bring my friends! Space is super cute too :-)
