I am from California and I had planned to propose to my girlfriend (now fiancé) in Vancouver, Canada. I am so glad I contacted Michael. He met and exceeded my expectations.
Michael was a pleasure to work with. Everything went smooth! Because of the location, It was very important for me to be there first in the morning. Michael was at the location early and was already taking test shots to make sure everything was picture perfect.
Before I got to Vancouver, I had lots of questions. He was quick in responding to any of my emails. It was a breeze when I had questions regarding the proposal/​location. He even had the courtesy to let me know how the weather would be once I got up there for the weekend. We were able to dress properly for the location.
My fiancé and I love the photos so much. We felt comfortable shooting with him. We are so glad we chose Michael to shoot the surprise proposal and engagement. Thank you Michael and Esther!

It’s been a while since I had to take new photos for my business, particularly because I wasn’t satisfied with my first session with another photographer and was completely dreading the next. A few years ago, I ended up going ahead with the same photographer for a second run because everyone in my office was using this particular guy, but I came out feeling like I wasted my time and money. Needless to say, I deleted the copies that were sent to me from the other company.
Michael, however, was a breath of fresh air. He was recommended to me through a friend and I have to say, right off the bat, I found him to be very professional yet personable. I don’t feel natural in front of a camera when having to take professional photos, whatsoever, but he helped me ease into every shot and was amazing at suggesting poses for me. He took several test shots from various angles and involved my opinions throughout the entire process. I told him what I was most conscious about (because everyone has insecurities that only they would notice, right?) and he was great at taking my thoughts and inputs into consideration as well. He has a gift of giving direction in such a way that connects you to the camera and I’m really happy that Michael was recommended to me. I can’t wait to use these photos and I would highly recommend him to anyone who is in need of a great, passionate photographer for any occasion. Thanks Michael!

Right on time for the appointment, very professional with good suggestions during the entire session. Prompt and well equipped. Will definitely use them again for future projects.
