Stumbled upon this store while doing the touristy Gastown walkabout. Being a fan of Fluevog I was excited to see a store filled with unique and limited run shoes and boots for men (they have lots of womens shoes too). Some shoes are from European manufacturers while others are «one-​off» runs of a particular shoe (once the single size run is gone they’re gone). These are not cheap shoes, but I feel there’s more character and panache in their shoes for the same price you would spend at Nordstrom or similar stores. Definitely a must see if you like shoes with a little character.

Men’s and Women’s shoes… very unique styles with a great European flare. The assistance I received when choosing and trying shoes was impressive.
I don’t go to Gastown often and saw this store a month or so ago with limited selection but this time… there is a lot more selection of both conservative and trend setter options. I would recommend you try this place and find and experience the pair of shoes I have, compliments every time I wear them.

La Differencia is a women’s fashion store carrying unique designers such as VEX, Desigual, Cream, Odd Molly Nu and women’s shoes by Fly London, Prophecy, Eject, DEODE and Brako. They also have a wide selection of watches and accessories. I came in here more or less to browse. I didn’t need the customer service ’cause I didn’t have any questions and the lady at the til was assisting someone else who was more serious about a purchase. Selection for a small store was very decent. Prices are what you would expect. There is a slight mark up given the location but nothing over the top.
