The best low cost flowers in Kitsilano are right here. A full range of product priced anywhere from $ 2 to $ 40 means you can find something to brighten your day & fit your budget. A truly wonderful selection of cut flowers & potted plants. It’s a busy corner grocery store with lotto tix that does a huge business in flowers. We’ve never been disappointed coming here to take away flowers that last a long time when treated properly — stems recut, etc.

As far as corner stores go this place isn’t too bad. It’s rather amazing how much they can pack into such a small store. It’s barely a block from home so it’s perfect when we run out of something last minute, like coffee filters. They even have organic milk and a decent selection of juices. Their produce selection can be hit and miss but if you need a bunch of cilantro for your tacos you’ll be able to find it here. The thing I love the most about this store though are the flowers. The outside front is lined with a wonderful selection of beauties — cut and potted. They also have beautiful potted orchids. Sometimes it can be hard to get around the store because it’s jam-packed with buckets of flowers. It looks like they do arrangements for weddings and events. They’ll wrap your flowers up prettily too. Yesterday I got three bunches of daffodils for $ 5! They’re like gorgeous sunshine on my table right now. Another item they carry are very nice photograph blank cards. It turns out they’re made by a guy in my building. So now if I’m buying a friend a beautiful bunch of flowers I can also get them a unique card by a local artist. I like that.
