John’s Jukes

I was looking for my dream machine. A 1982 haunted house. I found it online at John Jukes. It was my first machine so I was a bit worried to buy a machine I never saw and wanted to make sure it was all working etc.
I did trust John Roberston immediately after talking to him. He is honest, straight forward and a pinball lover. He has a legit shop downtown Vancouver that I personally visited.
When I bought the machine, it was to be delivered in California from Canada. John arranged packing and transport. It came to my house PERFECTLY PACKAGED with clear and detailed instructions on how to hook it up (if you can count until 10, you can hook up a pinball).
Overall john jukes is a 5 star seller. I paid him in advance by wire transfer and the transaction went smoothly. Everything as expected.
John is also available if you need help. I was looking for a key during UN-​packing and he knew exactly where it was hiding. Last, he also offered to pay for a new glass when I saw that the one I had was scratched by time. I didn’t have to ask. John offered first.
A great and cheerful person who sells great machines at good prices !!! Strongly recommended.

As a child of the 70’s and a teenager of the 80’s I have always been a fan of arcade games and the sound of jukeboxes. I stepped in this store for the first time back in 1985 and it was a great store back then and still is.

I’ve never been in a jukebox store or a pinball machine store before, so I had to go in here when I saw it. Now, I am not a pinball game player, nor am I a jukebox expert, but I love the way they look in a large living room or a retro restaurant. And this place has some of the more unique items. From brightly decorated machines that play music the old-​world ways (with coins) to pinball machines that cost a few thousand dollars, this travel time back to more beautiful days gone by is worth a visit.

If you’re truly interested in spending upwards of $ 2000 on a retro pinball machine, you’re probably too busy partying it up in your mansion to spend time on the internet looking through business directories for personal testimonies.
But if you’ve made it this far, let me tell you about the magical and prehistoric collector’s items available at John’s Jukes. First and foremost are the Jukeboxes, old delightful automated DJ machines that take everything from loonies to nickels. One of the Jukeboxes is fashioned to look like the back of a hot pink convertible, perfect for making your living room look like Pop Tate’s Soda Shop in Archie Comics. Most of the other ones can be summed up by referencing the opening montage for Happy Days. There is also a wide variety of pinball machines, with every co-​opted franchise from Star Wars to Kiss, and a few video game consoles that have been manhandled by fastidious fingers for over 40 years.
But it’s a high price to pay for nostalgia, with items ranging from several hundred dollars to several thousand. If you do miss Frogger that much though, it’s the right place to go, just make sure that you have a truck nearby so you don’t have to maneuver the console through traffic.
