This coffee is really«as good as it gets» The staff are also friendly, the place is clean, and the location idea. Huge JJ fan

Fun fact about this place, if you’re wandering past before 6am, there’s an aggressive 1-block radius smell of muffins.

Likes: Interestingly pleasant wooden décor, lots of natural light, fast and friendly counter service, consistently clean and tidy seating area and bathrooms, efficient placement of cream and sugar stations, good muffins and breakfast wraps. Good for grab-and-go. Dislikes: Despite a good grab-and-go experience it sucks to hang out there. Popular among yuppies and college kids, it feels very«trendy» for no apparent reason, like I’m in a gap ad. Extremely overrated and over crowded. Poor acoustics bounces sound around like crazy so it is always loud and distracting. Not intimate in the slightest

I LOVEJJ Bean, and I really feel like this location is not a fair representation of the company. I came here over the weekend hoping to show my friend how awesome JJ bean was, but the consensus was that it was more average and left me wishing I had gone to the Main St location instead. When we arrived, it was about 12:30pm. The pastry case was *very* bare, with only a couple of muffins and 1 type of each cookie, with the exception of peanut butter that was plentiful. I got a cookie that seemed sweeter than usual and watched and hoped that eventually the other yummies would come out… but nothing did. We were there for several hours, and the case got down to nearly completely empty. Not pretty, and certainly not satisfying for the people coming in expecting to get an amazing JJ treat. I ordered a mocha with almond milk and it wasn’t good. I didn’t finish it. My boyfriend got an iced mocha which he enjoyed, but I thought tasted more like chocolate milk. My friend got an americano and it was, in my opinion, the only thing done right the entire time. Sad. I hope this location works out it’s kinks and comes to be on par with the others. I think I’ll stick with Main.

This modern designed coffee shop makes me want to spend my whole day here just sipping coffee and working on my laptop. Really enjoy the coffee and all the sweets they have

Well, what a delight to savour early morning coffee in JJ’s Cambie Street location. All the south side windows were open to the cool morning air, the line up was short, the coffee hot and fresh! Breakfast was the fruit and nut pull-apart which was the texture of lovingly prepared dough — reminiscent of when I ate at a nunnery and the breads were stunning, with the explanation that they were made with love. So breakfast was heavenly! And this location is just lovely. Spacious. Big floor to ceiling windows, lots of light and facing the side street. A hit for me, and obviously for the folks in the neighbourhood as the place was rockin’ in the early morn. Yum!

Good to see better coffee come to Cambie Village. Tasty pastries and above average coffee. Grilled cheese is pretty darn good.

I love JJBean but unfortunately they’re still figuring things out at this location. I’ve been there 5 times and they have forgotten my order at least twice. They don’t seem to handle busy periods too well. Coffee and muffins are great as usual. I will most likely go back due to proximity but do prefer other locations better.

Bold statement, best coffee in town next to Thierry on Alberni… But let’s talk about the real attraction to JJ bean… The ridiculous luscious juicy savory decadent moist fluffy muffins. I think I wake up twice a week with a deep craving for one and it’s just a matter of who wins the inner debate on the drive over to determine whether or not The dream becomes a reality… But these are the top two muffins that you absolutely need to have with any coffee Choice: Carrot Raisin Bran Chocolate Chip Zucchini Icing on the cake, they have almond milk!

New location, big and clean. The cookies are delicious and the size of a side plate. My latte was wrong, I order no foam and mine came heaped with foam and foam art. I just don’t like or want foam.

This location is HUGE. There is no personality in the décor and the drink selection is standard just like all the other locations, however, they make up with the size of the coffee shop which makes it awesome for working on large projects. Because it is on the corner of Cambie/18th there is a large window that lets the sunshine in. I came here to get some tea and work on my art project. Barista was kinda nice but it wouldn’t hurt if she actually smiled. They are free. Not much in terms of snack selections.

So happy to have JJ Bean in the hood! Solid coffee(always get Railtown blend), competent staff and the best interior(I think) out of all of the JJ Beans in Vancouver.

This place is new at this location. So I better behave and give them a fair review. I ordered caffe americano. It was just ok. I had better americano at Waves by my work. I’ll come back definitely. I’m a McCafe fan actually so you could tell I have great taste in coffee. But as long as it’s not Starbucks I’ll come in to get my caffeine fix when needed. The 4 stars is for the ambiance, good feel when you walk in. Staff were attentive. The place was bustling at close to noon on Sunday. You could tell people get this place.
