Happy hour 2−6pm(Mon-Fri): buy 1 bubble tea(includes all drinks) and get the 2nd one half off! I had their peach green tea with pearl and my bf had the lychee green tea with coconut jelly. Their bbts are not too sweet(the way we like it) and the pearls are great! Really cute and modern décor(one of my fav shades of teal). They have tons of desserts, including a wide array of macarons that I was tempted to try but didn’t that day — which only means I will be back for redemption. Right next to Park Theater, it’s a great spot to hit up after checking out a movie.

Love their lavender tea latte. It little over priced, but I guess it can slide in that location. I’d say it’s pretty close to downtown price tho. Really good customer service. They forgot our other lavender tea latte. And they were nice to give us two macaroons for free. :)

Even thou the place is kind of small with limited seating, I did like the décor and vibe. We ordered drinks varying from the normal milk tea drinks that you can get anywhere to specialties. The normal boba drinks were alright and nothing really special about them. The boba itself wasn’t that great. The lavender white chocolate was a nice surprise but at times wish there were more lavender in it. We also tried the specialty ultimate macha green tea which was actually pretty good and would recommend it. We didn’t try any of the desserts so can’t really speak on that behalf. This place just opened so there is a lot of potential for improvements.

Nosh and Nibble came here for dessert and I had a great taste of the following: Salted Caramel Macaron($ 2) Strawberry Macaron($ 2) Original Brussels Waffle($ 4.95) Rainbow Delight($ 7.95) TMix Signature Bubble Waffle($ 12.50) Sweet Milk Flavoured Snow Ice($ 4.95 + 4 * $ 0.75 toppings) Water Blossom Tea($ 5.95) Honey Chrysanthemum Tea($ 5.95) The salted caramel and strawberry macarons were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. I liked that the cream inside wasn’t too hard meaning these weren’t refrigerated to chunky death. The same goes for the macarons that came with the TMix Signature Waffle. The Brussels Waffle came with icing sugar and whipped cream. I ordered a plainer option because I appreciate the fluffiness of a good Brussels waffle and this didn’t disappoint. At this price it can be more or less the same price(depending on your toppings) as Nero but with less whipping cream which is never a bad thing. You’ll notice on the menu that you can customize almost everything you order here with extra toppings which is pretty cool if you want something more than plain. The Rainbow Delight caught my eye as you don’t see this too often in shave ice shops. The Ube ice cream here was a sweet yam flavour and when scooped up had a slight carbonated zing. Other parts were full of potato. I don’t think this dessert is for everyone but for those who prefer more savoury ingredients like beans and rice balls this Rainbow Delight is an interesting item to try. The TMix Signature Bubble Waffle was my favourite part of this meal. The bubbles were thick with bread and mixed well with the mango ice cream and dressings on top. If you’re eating this on your own, this dessert would fill up the average dessert bar goer and you wouldn’t feel bad if you decided not to share with your friends. It came with my choice of 3 macarons so I chose coffee, honeydew, and chocolate ganache. Nothing too extreme in Vancouver macaron standards but the chocolate ganache was had a cool blue shell and was very rich. We finished with the classic Sweet Milk Flavoured Snow Ice. This used blocks of frozen milk to create«ribbons» of iced flavoured milk. I chose the original because I’d never tried a plain flavour before and right off the bat I can say it’s best to get the milk flavour for those who don’t like overly sweet desserts. The milk flavour here tasted exactly like iced solidified milk so you might prefer a flavour like mango or strawberry if you like a traditionally sweet dessert. The toppings here vary from fruity ones to traditional Taiwanese treats like green bean and grass jelly. The toppings are where you can really rack up your bill but if you keep it to one or two toppings, I’d argue that you get a good amount of shaved milk for the price compared to places like Frappé Bliss in Richmond. Last but not least there’s always a need for some hot liquid to clear the mouth between sweet dishes. The Honey Chrysanthemum had a sweet floral taste while the Water Blossom tea had a slight rose and strong aroma to it. I don’t think you can go wrong with either option; both teas had enough for around 3 cups which is very shareable and you can get free water refills if you sit in.

The food is fab and the Owner, Sandy is the Best! Her customer service skills are awesome! Although she let the employees make our three waffles and drinks, which seemed to take them a long time in my opinion, i’d still recommend TMIX because of the great food and fab Owner!

I saw this place reviewed on the front page on Unilocal and book marked it for future reference on October 23, 2015. You had me at hello. Actually you had me at bubble tea. Too bad the wifi was shoots as I wanted to work on my zine. The décor is simple but decorated with nice pictures of dessert. There’s so much selection that it was extremely overwhelming. I took a good 20 minutes to decide. Most items are made to order, therefore, expect a 20 — 30 minute wait for your food. They haven’t mastered the art of moving fast or multitasking. My wait clocked in at 55 minutes. Because most things are hand crafted on site this could be considered as the slow food movement. I had another event to go to, therefore, I couldn’t finish it on time. They had a full eatery and only used 1 of the 2 waffle machines? I got a mango bubble tea and a dessert sampler for around $ 20. I got a massive brain freeze that the couple next to me was kind enough to offer some advice for remedy. I just got way too excited about mango. Probably did help that I was drinking a mango slush in heavy rain and wind… a storm in nothing but a thin sweat shirt and cat hat. There is some seating, however, there’s no real«slow» moment. You may have to share a seat with someone. The dessert platter came with 3 frozen crème brûlée that tasted more like ice cream. The lavender was good, Oreo was gross and the earl grey tea one was a bit too subtle on taste. They did apologize for me not liking the dessert and offered me another flavour, however, due to time couldn’t take them up on it. Because they listened to my opinions and were apologetic is why I am not rating this place low. Customer service was friendly.

Finally another shop on Cambie that I can go to for dessert! After a number of failed attempts to get into its neighbouring bbt shop, with sub par service I might add, I’m glad TMix is able to capitalize on their overflow. There’s so much they offer that I wasn’t even sure where to begin. A few friends and I tried a couple of different things: 1) Macaron — pretty good not overly sweet and had a nice buttery filling. 2) BBT — the London fog was done really well. Just enough sweetness and was very flavourful. Presentation was also quite adorable. 3) BBT Pineapple slush — I am kind of a pineapple slush connoisseur and usually it ends up being a miss more than a hit. The one here was fresh, not too tart and was very refreshing. I will definitely come back for this again. 4) S’mores bubble waffle — Nicely toasted marshmallows, chocolate chips, whip cream, graham crackers, chocolate sauce… My goodness! Dare I say more??? Very good but also very sweet!(I don’t even want to know what my dentist would say about this) I’m glad I was able to share this with my gal pals! This is a pretty new shop so I know they’re still working out a few efficiency kinks but I really enjoyed my experience at TMix and would defiantly come back again. And I did. the next evening…(I’m serious)!

This place has a perfect blend of good drinks and even better waffles! I had the London Fog frappé with pearls and it was really good. The pearls were cooked just right and the London fog tasted great! I think next time I’ll ask for more ice though, I like my frappes a bit thicker. I also ordered the peach mango classic waffle with caramel sauce. Oh My Amazing! If ever want to satisfy your sweet tooth come here… it’s clean, modern and the customer service is A+! the owner is super nice too!

This joint opened two weeks ago and I’m happy we found it via Unilocal. We were craving a late night bubble waffle, and having driving to the Bubble Queen on Oak, we were told they didn’t have waffles that late in the night(it was 11pm). After looking on Unilocal,we noticed TMIX was less than a kilometre away, and drove to it promptly, and we’re happy we did. The establishment is bright, clean, and the staff(especially the owner!) is very friendly. We had the 6 Tastes of Asia Shaved Ice & the original bubble waffle, and it was exceptional. We will be back in no time — not only is this place open late and the desserts very tasty, the staff was so welcoming. I recommend this highly!

Net environment and awesome atmosphere. The owner is super friendly and nice. The green tea ice cream is awesome and the bubble waffle is really delicious crispy. They out a little put too much red beans on top which covered the toast of the bubble waffle. But overall, it’s a really nice little shop! Will definitely go back!

We were in town for Thanksgiving and needed a pick me up after dinner. This establishment is the newest addition to the neighborhood so we were eager to see what they had to offer. While we weren’t hungry, we were intrigued by their dessert offerings — from macrons to waffles to fresh fruit concoctions. I had my first teaspresso, which I must have again because it gave me an instant pick-me-up and kept me up for a bit. I need to try all their flavors. My husband had the mango ultimate drink, which he found refreshing and appreciated that it wasn’t artificially sweetened. The establishment is modern, bright and clean despite the fact that we just missed a theatre rush. The staff are friendly, patient to answer all your questions and followed up with us to ensure we were enjoying our purchases. My only suggestion is that they carry dairy alternatives, such as soy or almond milk. We’ll definitely be back to taste all their dessert.
