Don’t let the name fool you, there is no iron chef and this Iron Chef Bistro. This restaurant is clearly geared towards the students that attend the nearby high school. I ordered the fries and chicken strips and my friend ordered the poutine and fried cheese sticks. The chef definitely gets his«fresh» frozen ingredients from Costco. I saw no produce, no fresh ingredients and I know for a fact that the furniture in the restaurant, particularly the couches, were found on the side of the road in the alley behind the restaurant. If you’re considering some quick and easy convenience food, just walk half the block and go to 7/11, it’s better there than at this restaurant.

Discovered by chance on my way to Tibisti. They had just opened when I popped in to take a look. Seems to have been an old mechanic shop as one wall is actually 2 garage doors. Owner/chef seems nice enough, since it is a new business there were no other customers at that time. Ordered poutine and the fish and chips. The poutine was pretty average, a little salty on the gravy but sufficient curds. The fish and chips only comes with 1 piece of fish, however it was a huge piece. Pretty good value for the money although the fries were a bit too thick and not that crispy on the outside. Although the piece of fish was huge, its basa fish rather than cod or halibut and not my first choice in fish for fish and chips. Will definitely be back although not in a rush to. Good option for fish and chips in the area where the only other alternative seems to be Hometown Pizza(yes a pizza place making fish and chips)
