I usually go to VCC for a root touch up for the past 2 years to cover the grays. They got my hair color formula after 3 sessions, so I am pretty happy.
Last week I went to try this salon after my friend’s recommendation, and I was happily surprised with a couple of services that I thought I should point out in this review.
1) The lady who colored my hair was able to make my exact natural hair color formula without any hassle, considering my first time there.
2) I originally booked for a touch up AND a haircut, but my plans changed and I had to ran home after the coloring. It was a windy day and all of a sudden I realized the lady was making a quick neat French Braid for me so that I wouldn’t catch cold until I got home. I really enjoyed the free bonus she gave me.
3) I usually get myself home right after any hair coloring, as I like to wash my hair color out and get free of the itch lol! Here I was impressed on how clean the lady (I think her name was Parvaneh) washed away all the colors from my hair specially the back of my hair which is difficult for them to reach.
It was a friendly spot. I never look to spend a lot of money every month on my salon services, hence I chose VCC. This place made a sweet alternative for me if I want to work with professionals.

Can’t say a whole lot about what I don’t know about this spot. What I do know is: I go here all the time for my haircuts and Kobe is awesome! She cuts my hair the way an expensive stylist would, but for way less money. I really can’t attest to any other stylists because I only see Kobe. Go see her and you won’t be disappointed– neither will your wallet.

Mike and Anne are now doing their Nail and Esthetics out of this salon. They ran Professionail on the other side of Denman for over ten years. They are very experienced.
I highly recommend their manicure and pedicure etc. They have an amazing deal going also $ 30 for mani AND pedi. You can’t beat that. Spread the word!
The place isn’t fancy, but I was very happy with my visit.

This place is the best. I’ve worked all over the world, and had haircuts all over the world. Suni is the best of the best. When going to a Cosmetology school, I recommend getting your hair cut by the teacher, and Suni is fantastic. They also have the best price in the city, but I think I would go regardless of price, because no one does it better.

Very poor service,
once i was over booked and did not get my hair cut with the person i had booked the apt with. Second time my apt was booked with someone i did not even ask for. Third time i waited half hour to get my hair cut although i made an apt. The last time i went i was five minutes late and the lady i made the apt with refused to cut my hair instead doddled around and said someone else who was busy in the back would cut my hair once they were done. She kept sweeping the floor again and again just to look busy. I waited for 20 mnutes and never go back.
They are also always talking in Farsi so you never know what they are saying about you.
Go spend your $$ some place else.
