A strong 3.5 stars, for aggressive marketing. I almost feel guilty for them being a good client, but for $ 70 a pair of pants, I will pay more for a designer label. But as per pic, what a deal: $ 25 coupon for every $ 50 you spend, for a certain time period. Maybe those pants are looking better lol. Seriously, this is one of the better Gaps, at least for the men’s. Bigger, spacious than Robson. Sale section beside fitting rooms.

Three and a half stars. Gap brought out a lot of nice pieces this year, but the fabric quality was poor in some of them. Still well worth a good look, though.

I used to enter Gap and receive greetings from workers throughout the store. I went in and there was no staff, even at the cash register! I waited for about 5 mins for a cashier to come and no apology for the wait! Unbelievable. Gap used to pride themselves on their customer service. The store was a bit of a mess. I can’t believe online purchases do not allow for a straight exchange. The policy is you have to return the item and then re-purchase the item. If it was a quick process, it would not be a problem, but I waited a long time for this to be done. Not impressed.

The regular prices are too high compared to Old Navy, Joe Fresh and other places. Clothes are good quality though.

Do you remember when The Gap was cool? When you couldn’t wait to see what they would come up with for their next ad campaign… my personal faves were the ones with all the dancers and the Sarah Jessica Parker ones… now a days it seems The Gap has lost it’s luster… I used to think that the staff were all so great… you would get greeted by like 12 people and the clothes were awesome. I would spend half my pay cheque every 2 weeks there… alas. something has changed. I went into the Oakridge store this week and was soooo disappointed… the store was a hot mess… the staff were non existent and the clothes were.well.meh…and kinda pricey actually…$ 75 for Chinos? Gap has had it’s ups and downs in the past and hopefully this is just a minor hiccup in their business…
