WORSTPIZZAINTOWN You guys can’t be serious, this is the worst food I’ve ever eaten. How is this chain expanding so fast if the one product they sell(pizza) sucks? Go to ANY other pizza by the slice place and go here and you’ll see what I mean.

I like Fresh Slice generally, middle of the road, cheap, quick… This particular franchise though, really lets itself down. First off, when placing my order, I got a young woman on the phone, bizarre manner, told me they wouldn’t deliver, just generally very odd and rude. Eventually I got the order across though. Over 1 hour later(close to 1hr 30) the manager arrived with the large pepperoni, he kindly gave me some coupons due to the lateness of the pizza… The pizza itself I can only describe as ‘old’ it was like something that had been sitting out all day, reheated(barely) and passed off as a fresh pizza. It tasted awful too, so salty, I couldn’t finish the second slice. I wrote to the owner, not looking for a refund but just to let him know, he offered a free pizza. I decided to take him up on it several days later, no reply for a week! Then he came back to me to ask what type of pizza I wanted Food 1⁄5 Customer Service 1⁄5 For the record I have had fresh slice from other places and its been pretty good(Romanos is better though)

I forgot what I ordered, but the first slice that I got was in the display case for a while and the second slice that I was fresh, just came from the oven. I got it for here because it was raining outside. But what I didn’t realize was that all of the seats were taken. I had to wait a while for that. I took a bit of the pizza from the display case and it was cold and I also noticed that there was someone else who complained that his pizza was cold. I was pretty upset about that. Other than that the pizza that just came out of the oven was obviously better. The pizza here is sometimes good and sometimes MEH but it’s quick and I don’t mind getting some for lunch.

Great pizzas for great prices! Clean and nice little place with great staff! Pizzas are always very fresh and have great variety! They always have promos so perfect for office lunches or parties! Will be going there again!

Great pizza and great prices, depending on what you order it can take long(ie. half and half pizza takes ~25 minutes, when a normal cheese pizza takes ~5 minutes).

It’s hard not to like Fresh Slice… Good variety, you don’t get cardboard pizza and on Tuesdays it is 1.25 per slice. On Wednesday I paid $ 1.75. I’ve noticed many homeless people buy food here.

Just a packrat here, so crowded w/students in DT lol. perfect for the value & proximity to the language schools here. some street parking on seymour but limited during rush hour. but one good thing is it’s fast turnover here, so the pizza’s fresh.

Among the worst«dollar pizza» in the downtown area. Really, lacklustre in almost every way.

Their pizza is delicious and I do like their pizza size. Also I certainly love their $ 4.48 combo, which comprises of 2 slices of pizza and 1 small drink. Considering that their pizza is in a good relative size, so it basically kills my hunger in no time at all for a decent price. And their employees are pretty friendly. The only thing sucks is that this place only has enough seats for 20 or so and it gets filled up really quick. I’m one of the VCC students from across the street from this place and I’ve been coming to this location for the past few weeks now and I’ve always notice that as soon as noon arrives, more and more people will start storming into this place due to the fact that it’s lunch time. I always arrive around 12:10pm or before, and I’ve always noticed how the rooms gets packed fairly quickly. And as for the prices on the rest of their food, it’s really not that bad. But I can’t comment on how good it is because I only had their pizza before. Otherwise, I think this place is a really good place to visit if you want a very decent pizza for a good price. Because seriously, where in the heck can you beat $ 4.48 for 2 slices of pizza and 1 can of soda in the downtown area!!! Most pizza places always charge at least $ 2 to $ 4 for a single slice of pizza. PS. They do offer free internet but they require you to have a Shaw account though.

The cheapest place to in the city as slice of pizza will run under two dollars. On Tuesdays you can make out like a bandit and buy any slice for loonie. The pizza is greasy and thin, but good enough to fill the stomach.

It was a real pleasant surprise when I realized that I had gotten lucky with the day. They have Festive Tuesdays, which is $ 1 pizza. Best deal in town ANYWHERE. On other days it’s $ 1.56 + tax, or $ 1.75 a slice. Inside is a bit dingy, with piles of students(probably from VCC) stopping by. Let’s be honest here. You’re not here for 5 star dining. You’re here because you have the munchies. And this place does the job nicely. They had some 6 pizzas on the rack when I stepped in, and because of the hordes of students, the pizza is always fresh. Oh yeah, parking sucks here. So, walk.

Ah, remember when their slices were only 99 cents? I miss those days. When I feel like I need a good slice of greasy pizza, this place always pops into my mind. It’s delicious and simple.(And it’s Canadian!)

We had to order 8 whole pizzas for our office and decided on Fresh Slice Pizza. A man picked up the phone and was very patient and accomodating. I kept having to put him on mute to ask for the toppings because my co-workers couldn’t make up their minds. Lucky, he was OK with this and maintained his friendliness. We needed the Pizzas first thing in the morning the next day and it was ½ hour before they even opened. I’m not certain, but this man sounded like the owner. He said that he would go to work early and have the pizzas ready. He gave me his cell phone number and made sure the whole order was correct. I thought the pizzas had a lot of toppings and tasted great, but not the best pizza I’ve ever had. However, they are still very tasty pizza pies! The reason they get a 4⁄5 is because of their prices and their stellar customer service.

This Fresh Slice is very clean, and has lots of seating. The pizza is good, lots of toppings and an abundance of cheese on a doughy crust. I like the chicken pizza, there’s some spice on it that just works. Slices slightly smaller than other by-the-slice joints, but you pay less: I got two slices for $ 3.40 incl tax(that’s $ 1.70 each, for the mathematically-disabled).

Hooray a nice fresh slice. This means I won’t have to go to the location on Pender ever again! Well, I feel bad saying that, maybe I’ll have a rotation for every 4 times I go to this new and improved location I’ll show some love to the Pender location. Why is this one so much better? It’s big! Though this brand new location is big, it’s bustling and busy. Still with more than 4 seats, it’s way easier to get a spot to sit down with your slice. The place is very clean and well lit. Still the same good(but just average) pizza that you know and love.
