Extremely rude employees, bad service, overpriced. Will never buy from here again. There are better options available on Granville Island

I was looking for some vegetarian options and I wanted a spring roll as I saw a girl eating one. I saw them here and asked if they had without shrimp and they did! I also got me a fresh squeezed berry juice. Price was higher than I would like, but the quality… that is the make it or break it for me. The quality was really good. The service was fast and the girl I asked was very friendly! Located at one of the main food courts, tons of seating.

When I used to work in the area I came here to get a lot of smoothies in the summer, before I got my own blender and just bought the fresh fruit and did it myself. I miss being a regular here. The service was always good. At the tie they would use fresh fruit from the market.

Wow, surprised that no one’s written a recent review, let alone 2014 but we all know that will change quickly as soon as I post this review ;) The only dedicated juice bar here as you won’t find a Jugo Juice or Booster Juice on Granville Island. Ordered their #2 with kiwi, banana, organic yogurt, strawberries, which to me was better value to spend the extra $ 1.50 than the one flavour smoothie. For $ 7.50, it was to be expected here so didn’t mind but for sure, you get a lot less here. I’m still not convinced it’s 12 ounces as their display shows the sizes hmmm… it’s a good smoothie. They also offer fruit salads and just one type of beef phở, which didn’t look too promising. Located on the quieter, left side of the market, corner spot.

Excellent juice, good salads too, awesome customer service from the Vietnamese girl(Janice, I think). Made juice to taste, Offered to pack order extra securely for plane travel. Made it a great experience.

located in granville market. friendly service. expensive. soy milk smoothie was fresh but not quite cold enough or sweet enough for my taste. also, too frothy, which i think is just an inherent problem with soy smoothies.

As a juice/smoothie junkie, I was expecting a little more bang for my buck at this place… In my opinion, 8BUCKS for a smoothie approx the size of a Tall from Sbux is NOT cool. Tasted fabulous, no doubt about that — the smoothie was extremely refreshing and had that citrus kick I was looking for, but the price just really hurt. What was also disappointing was that when they made the smoothie, they had SO much left over… I longingly wish they’d give me more since it was almost closing time anyways but they only gave me that small one-size cup and charged me that whopping price. Scarfed it down pretty quickly, then was left sorta regretting I didn’t spend that money on something more filling. I only ordered a smoothie so I can’t say much about the food –but from what I saw, the items they had at the salad bar looked really healthy and had a ton of vegetarian options from a variety of cuisines(e.g. Vietnamese, Mediterranean). The prices for the food seemed alot more reasonable too, so maybe next time I’m there I’ll stick to the solid stuff ;P

Is it just me, or is everyone in Granville Island STUNNED on weekends? Anyways, my aunt and I were on the hunt for some delicious smoothies, so we stopped at the good ol’ Fraser Valley spot. I was quite impressed with their wide selection of vegetarian foods, but I ended up only getting a greek salad with my smoothie.(Their greek salad isn’t swarming in green peppers, because there are no green peppers at all!) It was really fresh and delicious, and a nice change with the red and yellow bell peppers in lieu of green. My smoothie was tres yummy. I wonder what kind of yogurt they used? Hopefully none of that Liberte mediterranean stuff! It’s hella good, but my thighs cry when I eat that stuff. Anyway, I recommend this place to all if you want a nice, light lunch. Be aware of all the tourists(& locals) who like to STOP in the MIDDLEOFTHEASILES. WHY?!

A healthy and tasty lunch option in the Granville Island Market — more than just a juice and salad bar. Today I had and recommend: — The pitas well-stuffed with 3 options of your choice(mixed bean, lentils, tuna, greek salad, spinach salad). ½ size feels like a regular, only $ 4 — The Vietnamese salad roll with peanut sauce. Choice of crab, shrimp, or salmon. Meal-sized, $ 4 – 6 When dining in the public market, it’s a great health-conscious choice!

Went there for lunch as I was looking for something vegan while wandering the market. I had the salad combo with pita option, 3 salad choices with a pita for 7.50. The price was not bad for the amount of food I got, I actually had a ziploc in my bag that I put my leftovers in. The salads were good, the best one of the bunch that I had was a lemon spinach couscous salad — I actually wished I had gotten more of it! Had fresh juice for dessert, had a 16 oz I believe and I think it was $ 5.50. It was a good amount and hit the spot, but I can see that it adds up. In the end it’s more than I want to pay for lunch. however, I will go back to lemon spinach couscous salad again and see if it’s as good as I thought!

The prices seem a bit steep for a glass of juice — from about $ 2 for a double-shot-glass size, on up to around $ 7 or $ 8 for a big cup — but the ingredients are good quality and the end product is lip-smacking good. Or puckering, depending on your fondness for citrus, I guess. However, when you think about the hassle involved in making your own fresh juices — prepping, squeezing, cleaning up — it seems a small price to pay. Plus, I get a small smug from offsetting my somewhat junk foodie lunch with all them healthy nutrients, rather than just cheaping out on a can of pop or whatever. Drink your juice — this is some good stuff.

Although there appears to be a swarm of people here most of the time, take that as a good sign that Fraser Valley Juice & Salad Bar has the freshest take on sustenance around. A perfect snack for your Granville Island adventures is a fresh squeezed juice and Vietnamese salad roll in chicken, prawn, lobster or vegetarian varieties. I juices combinations can be traditional, from orange, apple and carrot to more exotic kiwi, orange, pineapple and strawberry to ginger mint orange or cantaloupe watermelon. The choice is up to you and they will let you know if your fruit combo is going to taste great or if you should make some adjustments to it. Those salad rolls go quick but freshly made ones quickly take their place as do the extensive list of salads, from Vietnamese chicken salad, Greek, organic greens, lemon couscous spinach and lentil. If you crave something more substantial, there are a number of steamed veggie and rice with sauce or garlic mash potatoes with a side of steamed veggies. For the carnivores, you can order a number of Asian dishes, from Hainanese style chicken to curried chicken with stir fried noodles or rice. Fruit shakes from any kind of fruit, milk or yogurt you can imagine will keep your tummy from rumbling well through the day.
