History

Established in 2011.

Back in 2006, our business started as Computer Tutor for Seniors. Due to demand of our service and the changes in technology, we rebranded to become eGurus Technology Tutors as we are now known.

We’re not just dealing with computers anymore, and it’s not just seniors that need help. Although we specialize in the 55+ market, we recognize the opportunity to be of help to more people in general.

Business Owner

Working directly with seniors has taught me how they react to technology and helped me to better understand their everyday and future needs. My work has brought to my attention the challenges seniors are faced with when accessing technologies, including Internet, print and telephone. I continually research the ageing population, analyze my findings and modify my instruction approach and curriculum accordingly. It is my experience that to successfully communicate services and programs to seniors, government and private service providers need to work together to develop consistent and accessible forms of media for seniors. I am committed to promoting the use of W3C Web Standards to improve the accessibility of websites.
