I provide private math classes for the Vancouver area.

I specialize in teaching the beauty of mathematics in an amazingly intuitive way. I pull resources from all over the web which allows for multiple learning styles and thousands of practice problems. I have over 10,000 hours of instruction experience, a masters in mathematics, and I write learning materials with Ph.D. students from around Canada. These learning materials are used mostly in grade 12 classes around the country.

I idolize Richard Feynman and other lifelong students. Learning itself is the end goal at Tall Guy Tutoring. It is truly a learning experience like you have never seen.

History

Established in 2005.

I started teaching 10 years ago because I loved it — simple as that. The business grew, very slowly, until it hit a spurt around 5 years ago. I quit my government job and never looked back.

My specialty is teaching the foundations of mathematics to students, because it’s a ridiculous amount of fun. What student doesn’t love learning math that is supposedly way above their level? What student doesn’t love the confidence that they can learn anything? Wouldn’t that be amazing? It is. :)
