Customers’ taste buds will travel to Mexico with Chronic Tacos’ third generation Mexican recipes including Carne Asada, Pollo Asado, Carnitas, Al Pastor, and fresh Pico de Gallo and Guacamole. DISLIKE! I felt like having something simple, so I ordered the cheese quesadilla. It was not cooked well and there was greens and tomatoes mixed in my food. Service was HORRIBLE, took forever to get my food done. Also, it was extremely messy and there was only about one person managing the whole restaurant. I wish I had went to one of the genuine Mexican restaurants. Learnt a lesson and definitely not returning to Chronic Tacos.

Love Chronic Taco! My standard is the Carne Asada burrito. Not only are they tasty but huge! Two meals in one. Not only that, the staff are always so friendly. Love this place.

The food is good here — similar to Mucho Burrito. The service was lacking. It was our first time there and the gentleman and lady behind the counter did not seem interested in giving recommendations or suggestions. My partner and I ordered together, but my fish taco came 5 minutes after his burrito. As I was waiting the lady said ‘oh, the fish tacos take longer to cook’. It would have been nice to be given the option for his burrito to be held back so we could have our food at the same time. Very tasty food. It is a modern taco place, unlike La Tacqueria which is more authentic Mexican. We may be back if friends wanted to go, but probably not on our own.

Say YESS to BURRITO MONDAYS!!!
Burritos are $ 1 off on monday. Hey, it adds up, kay? ;)
Their burritos are huge. Yesiree. And delicious. However, their meats could use some more flavour. But that’s nothing hot sauce can’t fix, right? The fillings are plentiful, load up on those veggies and beans!
And I LOVE the fact that you can get free chips for checking in on Unilocal,HOLLA!!!
Right beside the Canada Line, super convenient!

A tale of 4 Taco’s!
The wife & I came here for the first time today after hearing so much about it, and it did still meet and exceed our expectations.
I personally had One Grilled Shrimp & one Grilled Fish Taco, the wife had A spicy pork & a grilled chicken Taco, both extra spicy.
All were amazingly delicious, however my Grilled Fish was a little overdone, next time I would order the deep fried fish taco.
I will be back.

Good American style Mexican food. They have a variety of meats to choose from and you choose all the toppings you would like. Tacos, burritos, bowls, wraps etc. Pretty decent for the price. Far better than Taco Bell, Taco Time or Taco Del Mar.
Inside was nice. Good seating with televisions to watch sports along with a small bar for drinks

I gave this place four stars because of their service but the food was good, not great, but good, or A-​OK as Unilocal puts it.
As this is a restaurant where you go up and order, I went up and got my tacos made as I wanted. They do not go light on the meat nor the toppings, that’s what I like to see! The ingredients were fresh; however, the meat was under-​seasoned and bland. Now back to the service, the fact that they don’t charge extra for guacamole is a huge plus. The lady making my taco made it just as I asked and did so with a smile.
Also, there are multiple TVs to watch sports, which was awesome. The décor was great, with dark walls and artwork and clean booths and tables.
I will come back to this place, especially on Taco Tuesday — great service and cheap tacos, it’s a win/​win situation.

Chipotle is overrated; Chronic Tacos is where it’s at.
Price wise, Chronic Taco is way better. Portion wise, Chronic Taco is way better.
My favorite is the beer battered fish burrito, and their delicious Baja style. Om nom nom.

We ordered a plate of nachos to share. The guy who took the order never bothered to pass that order to the kitchen. 15 mins later I went to ask what happened as nachos are quick to prepare. He hadn’t put our order thru. They started to make it but despite my telling them all the extra toppings we had pause for and repeating it thee times the order wasn’t prepared correctly. They have it to me and it was still missing the guacamole salsa fish and shrimp that we had ordered extra. In fact none of the seafood was on it. So they gave me the nachos while they then began to prepare the fish and shrimp. Four different people made one plate of nachos and none took ownership so it was delayed and messed up. Please check your orders. The food doesn’t taste bad but the service is awful.

Oh my god! I LOVE THIS PLACE. Reminds me of the burrito spots in California, all freshly made. The carnitas is my favorite, I’ve tried to duplicate the flavor a few times over without success so I guess I’ll just keep coming here every week for my fix. Their margaritas are really delicious as well.

Love this spot. It’s greatest for watching hockey or UFC. Beer and fast food! And to clear the common debate, this place is WAY better than chipotle.
Tonight I had a quesadilla, and I wasn’t a huge fan… too many beans. The two best things to get are the burrito or the tacos. I give this place five stars for those two main items and the ambience. The people are friendly

As you can see from the quesadillas, it’s 4 pieces so not exactly the most filling so it’s good for a snack. Better value for the big burritos for the same $ 10 or so.
Do like how they layered the cheese; first they put some down, then ask you for your choice of meat, then finish it off with more cheese. Nice.
Complimentary nice water, and nice being that they even bothered to cut a few slices of lemon/​lime at their help-​yourself cooler.

3.5 stars… the portions are definitely generous and the staff are pretty friendly. We went at 11:45 on a Sunday morning so the place was pretty empty. Service was prompt and friendly.
My husband and I split a combo meal, which was a burrito the size of a small dog and sides of rice, beans, and nachos. The burrito filled both of us up and the sides had to be packed home for later eating. The burrito itself tasted pretty good (we got al pastor pork), although I still have a soft spot for another certain chain of mexicali burritos (cough chipotle cough).

I got the tostada bowl with grilled chicken and it was so good. Normally if you get bowls from other places its just a non edible bowl but the bowls here are deep deliscious! They recently renovated their store on broadway and it is pretty nice in there. The bowls are pretty big and really filling. The tacos here are so much better than chipotle.

This Chronic Tacos location has really tasty food. I’m under no illusion that it’s authentic Mexican food whatsoever. It’s Tex Mex. and it’s good Tex Mex.
The drinks are really cheap here.
The staff here are absolutely great. I’ve been here a fair amount over the past year and the staff is always consistently very friendly, helpful, and they try their best to smile and give good service.
