I rarely provide truly bad reviews, but I was served raw chicken in my noodle box here today. I ate a bunch of it before noticing that it was raw(because it is chopped in little pieces …) I immediately returned and showed two employees my food. They agreed it was raw but were remarkably unconcerned that they had served raw chicken. They offered to make me a replacement meal(not what I wanted) or refund my money. But I asked them to make sure that no one else was being served raw chicken. I waited and watched as neither of the employees did anything, while a co-worker continued to serve customers the same chicken I had just been given. It was shocking.

Today will probably be the last time I go to Chop n Toss. After the Freshii around the corner went downhill, Chop n Toss really filled the void. I’ve loved their rice and noodle boxes in the past — they were chock full of delicious veggies, chicken, and all sorts of loveliness. Unfortunately, the last few times I’ve been have been terrible. Overly oniony beef, to the point of being inedible. The portion sizes are half of what they once were, making them very poor value for the price. Today, I have a rice box in front of me that is basically a scoop of rice with a couple lettuce leaves and a flavourless dressing. If i wasn’t so hungry, it’d go in the bin. Looks like I’m back on the hunt for a new healthy lunch spot!

This is fast food done right. Think Chipolte with an Asian vibe but without the line up. I have had their spicy Thai chicken box multiple times and it never fails to make my taste buds happy plus it’s fresh and healthy just try it you will go back

It’s great. Good quality ingredients, delicious combinations and a somewhat reasonable price(c. $ 10) for a salad. Really can’t complain, fast, friendly and convenient. Will definitely return.

I’m one of those people who, when going to a salad bar, usually put the same toppings on my salad EVERYSINGLETIME I go to said salad bar. Ok, maybe I change up the type of nuts but overall — it’s the same. This makes me feel guilty because I am usually wasting a lot of money on salad when I could just be making it at home. Such is not(really) the case with Chop n Toss. Some reasons why: — you can mix your greens; — they have a ton of toppings to choose from(many I wouldn’t keep at home); — I like the ‘chop’ option to chop my salad for a denser taste — while it may be a little pricier than most salads($ 11 if you add a protein), you get what you pay for as I usually have enough salad for 2+ meals. Service is also very friendly, and frequent choppers/tossers get a discount card off the bat for a discount off your purchase. I have yet to try their juices but they look healthy and delicious! So for those days that I «forget» to make my lunch, Chop n Toss is a great alternative.
