They’re pizza is great, authentic thin crust with fresh toppings. They should be charging more then $ 2 a slice. Plus the staff is really nice.

I’ve always had a good experience here. The staff(when it was run by a deaf staff, which is really cool) was very helpful before. Now it’s run by new management which has basically kept most of the pizzas faithful to the former construction. As others have mentioned, they have a few pizza types available for the day, and your«pick and choose» method where they put some of their previously-made slices into a blast oven to bring them up to piping hot. Others, they’ll make on the spot when they run out in the front, so you may want to actually order those. Either way, the food is pretty tasty and I like the Mediterranean flavors — spinach, pesto, sundried tomatoes, chicken… very little beef or pork in their repertoire of pizzas, which I think is pretty good in this city where Fresh Slice and their pepperoni litters every few blocks. Two slices for $ 4.76 including tax, and with your choice of drink? It’s a great deal since none of my pizza was really that oily. Not a home run, more of a double with potential to steal a triple. I guess it’s a line drive.

I have prefaced several reviews similiarly, but this is the by and far the most impressive by the slice pizza shop I have ever dined at in Vancouver. Their pizzas have distinct, fresh mediterranean toppings, their staff are pleasant, the dining area cozy. Their business model is distinct and may hopefully inspire other by the slices, as their slices are heated to order rather than being warmed through out the day. The options for pizza change throughout the day, with only five or six slices available at any given time. In addition to specifically labelled vegetarian slices, they also advertise undisplayed gluten free options, so they must have some things ready that aren’t at the counter. The price is insanely competitive. Under $ 5 for two slices and a pop? With parmesan, garlic sauce, and great pizza. And they’re just outside the b-line stop, so you can eat your last slice waiitng for a bus to pull in, in style. Who said being broke had to be such a chore?

* Point here pizza * First time I’ve visited a restaurant with a sign that says, «Our staff is deaf. Please point to what you would like, or write it on this paper.» They had the pizza slices nicely displayed on a wooden block which made it easy to point to. Slices were reheated in the oven after selecting. I had the mushroom slice and the artichoke, pepper, mushroom and olive slice. The slices were ok, but nothing that would make me rush back. Photo: Seriously overpriced for 2 slices though — it worked out to $ 7 with a bottle of water, even though the sign advertised a 2 slice and drink special for $ 4.25. Apparently I ordered a premium slice, which wasn’t really made clear until paying after already having eaten. Boo.

First and foremost: very very good pizza at a great price. This is not another«Pizza slice» joint — this is gourmet stuff — I actually feel healthy after eating here. I kinda feel guilty for paying so little given the quality. Also: free wireless internet, and open quite late most nights. I may have to move in. Have to agree with the previous reviewer — every staff member in this place is amazingly nice. I’ve also seen the owner out and around town, and he’s always smiling even when not at work, and always remembers me — even though I’ve only been here a couple times(so far).
