Really good selection of deeply discounted gear. I got a 2013 board for half off the original price, as well as boots and bindings at great prices. Altogether, the setup totaled a bit under $ 570 including tax. Even on this tight of a budget, I had lots of different options to choose from, and could even have gone significantly cheaper if I was really determined to save.
The staff were very, very nice and helpful, and took their time to answer all my silly questions, though there weren’t quite enough of them to go around. I don’t blame the staff for that though, they did their best and never rushed me or made me feel like I was being a bother. Both of the staff who helped me out gave great detailed recommendations, and explained why they’d opt for one piece of gear over another. I learned quite a bit and felt much more confident about my purchases having spoken to them.
I’d researched their gear selection online before going to the store, and here’s a tip: If an item is showing in stock, there’s a good chance they only have ONE. If you don’t jump on it, you might miss out. Thankfully, I hustled over there right away when I saw they had the board that my heart was set on. The inventory updates on their website very quickly. When I looked the next day, my gear was already showing as out of stock. I appreciate this, I hate going into a store or ordering online, only to find out that they no longer have the item.
I tried out my new gear on the weekend and am so pleased with everything.
