Meet the Business Owner
Blair S.
Business Owner
Blair Shapera is an internationally renowned clothing designer with a large clientele that includes many professional athletes and entertainment figures, as well as a «who’s who» of the Vancouver and international business communities.
Blair has over 35 years of retail experience, which includes owning and operating two Roots franchises and a Lou Myles store, as well as his own stores, Tyrone, Tyrone Sport and The Source.
He moved to Vancouver in 1989 and pioneered reverse retail, going to his clients workplaces and homes, providing them with the ultimate in service.
After 10 years of non-stop travel, looking after his NBA and NHL customers, he decided to establish a brick and mortar presence again. This led to the purchase of Matz and Wozny, a legendary Vancouver institution that for 55 years has supplied the legal communities of B.C. and the Territories, as well as being one of the most respected custom suit makers in Vancouver.
